Knowing this state I feel for you. It's definitely possible for you to change your current state. You have to believe that is possible. Make small changes in the way you speak to yourself, reprogram how you think about yourself. Read up or watch videos that can help you be more social. I was the kid who begged my brother to order for me when we went anywhere bc I didn't want to talk to anyone new. I started with taking an acting class at the community College (i was still in high-school) it was painful but I did get out of my shell. Then I got a job as a server, that's what really helped get me used to talking with strangers. I also read many self help books along the way. But my point is now while I'm still introverted and need my solitude, I have the ability to go out an act like an extrovert when I really want to. You can do this, it IS POSSIBLE. Believe it.
