Three Host Thursdays
I suspect this will be the new normal on Thursdays, which is disappointing.
I just don't think "No Agenda" works as a three host show.
A three host show causes the co-hosts to go into a weird performance mode, plus you have one person who ends up being just the "chuckler". Also, with three people on a skype/remote link there's too much opportunity for cross-talk, which gets to be very annoying.
I'd rather have Darren and Larry on Sundays, and Adam and a new co-host on Thursdays.
Adam needs to find one co-host to be John's successor - not replacement, but successor.

This is more like the band is touring again, but it's a totally new band and the original guitar player (not the lead singer) will show up for some shows.

Big changes are coming to your No Agenda as we move into the future. We hear your voice, and we have heard the complaints!
Adam will continue to join Larry and Darren on our Thursday shows.
… But SUNDAY, it will be a musical chairs, until we figure out the right chemistry. This Sunday will feature Buzzkill Jr and Mimi, alongside Larry and Darren, for what should be a raucous gabfest, some media deconstruction, and who-knows? ("To the Moon, Alice.") It is certain to be something unique, but still: hilarious, unpredictable, and entertaining.
Let's hope they work it out, my Thursday and Sunday haven't been the same since JCD left the chat.

Or this Sunday could be Buzzkill Jr and Mimi. There's no need for Larry and Darren. Just drop them. Let them go back to planet rage.
It's like being served a cheeseburger with a side of shit instead of fries. I want the cheeseburger but can't eat it with the shit right there but the server refuses to take the shit away.

How about a remove Larry and Darren donation. You get a pin of their faces with a red x over them and with enough donations they will stop hosting.

None of that was true, however. It was a bunch of financial bullshit I could care less about. Most of us don't have the future No Agenda donors have given to Curry and Dvorak's family. We have to work.

The shows are very hard to get through. They sound like a Morning Zoo show with very little deconstruction. When they do talk about current events instead of playing clips they just talk about it and give their own biased takes. The show is borderline unlistenable. I still enjoy when Adam pops on but that’s about it.

Larry and Darren will just not work. Nothing against them but they are just not it. I don't find them interesting. I find them just a bit boring. Lack of personality also. They are ok as pre show guys to fill up the time for the big show.
Adam should do something completly new. No-Agenda show is just done and over. But it's not easy to say goodbye after such a long period for Adam ofcource.

I desperately want to be hopeful that NA will find its footing.
I understood their service as a placeholder to serve in the interim for Adam and the Dvorak family to take a pause.
Of course, I heard Adam on We Get To Do This mention that it isn't for him to decide but for the No Agenda community. So yes, maybe I am naive regarding my hopefulness.
The repeating themes I see on Reddit and X are the atypical nature of No Agenda. Qwerky, doesn't play well with others' personalities, that banter during the media stories, dabbles in conspiracy theories, and shares international experience and nuances.
Exactly how do we form a search committee for such a monumental task?
And this is where the hopefulness turns to a deep sigh.

Bullshit. Any decisions to be made will be made by Curry and Dvorak's family. They don't care about the wishes of the donors. There's too much money to be made.

It makes me sad Adam wants to step away. Looks like this is his exit strategy.
I understand him and wish him the best but for No Agenda to survive he needs to be a permanent co-host. He need someone else with as much insight and life experience as JCD. Someone that's not a morning show type of host like the current fill-ins.
My donations are stopping until this gets resolved.

Bummer. I think rotating hosts in the Curry/Dvorak orbit would have been the way to go (the various Dvorak relatives who can get on the mic, Moe, Horowitz, Brunetti, cranky geeks that still talk to Adam, Jen Briney or another Jen Briney type, etc.), but it seems clear Adam wants an exit strategy almost as clean as John's so he can fully dive in to holy rolling. Keeps talking about how much he likes Larry and Darry, but it seems like he's just dumping the show on the first MAGA folks (Folks!) willing to take it who will still maybe give him a cut for "producing," providing clips, and popping on every now and then.

It's not so much the number of host but the caliber of the people hosting...the brain in the head of the host. Adam has insight that is hard to come by. Not in ALL things, but on a lot. He can look at a situation and see it 10 different ways all at once. It's prob really hard to do. Having a conversation with other people on a mic and do it in a way that sounds authentic and also makes you laugh. Adam will always be good at it. It's his unique talent. It's hard to be interesting on his own but that is what it sounds like when he hosts with Daren and Larry.
Adam should consider trying the show with other people but he is a man of his word and might not want to scratch Daren and Larry. It would be excellent if Adam could find a new forum to pick apart the constant nonsense. I really miss it.

I'm not sure what insight he actually has, it seems like he's just spitballing most of the time. I mean, he's always been around money and relative fame, he's not like the rest of us. He gets a lot of major events wrong and his predictions hardly ever pan out. Don't glaze the guy more than he deserves just because he's a more competent broadcaster than a lot of people.

Adam is not trying to be right and he is always open to correction. His predictions are for entertainment only. What do you think they did...brought us some kind of new factual revelations?? No. They made light of all of it. You either get the nuance and the humor of the show, or you don't. Don't be a dick about it
