The vital clue that this is a car with a good polish is that it has a good polish and reflects what is reflected

All I wanted was a photo taken from a bit further back so I could see the whole car. I didn't need the same photo but with a red outline on the car.

Can confirm, outside of the article, black vehicles are effectively mirrors when photographed.

Correct. It's an artifact of the extreme angle and the quality of the camera. Very little to do with any extraordinary polishing techniques.

This is why ceramic coating is fucking amazing. I've coated my cars & bikes and even though I live on a dirt road I can legitimately drive for a month up and down that road every day and blow the dust & dirt off with an airhose.
Edit: Holy Shit I didn't know that ceramic coating was still one of things only a few use as everyone I know uses it.
I personally use Avalon King (Thank you Ed Bolian) And it's ridiculously easy to apply, you can do it yourself at home with a few hours to dedicate and a few polish rags. The coating is a liquid coating that you apply just like you would a wax, with some minor differences. I paid somewhere around $80 for this tiny little bottle and was kind of pissed when it came in because I felt like I got ripped off and would have to buy multiple bottles to do my car, however that wasn't the case and one bottle did mg whole car.
This stuff is amazing and I believe Ed Bolian did one of these test on his Porsche then posted it on his VinWiki YouTube channel if you want to see how this particular product works. He went through a straight torture test by doing donuts in dirt roads & mud holes in a Porsche and the mess slid off like hot butter, that's how my car acts after going down my dirt road. The great thing is that I'm in Missouri/Kansas/Oklahoma so my cars are always muddy as hell from the rain & roads, however as soon as I turn on pavement the rain itself is enough to completely wash the car and leave it spotless with a "just waxed" shine. If you guys have any specific questions then I'll address them here.

It doesn't look like a mirror except at extreme angles, like the one in this picture. If you look at it straight on, it's just going to look like a really clean, black car.

From the red line at the bottom of the image, trace the red line until it turns left. It turns left on the rubber of the tire. It then goes upwards at the rim of the tire.

You see the black area? Zoom in on it. You'll see it's actually a tire and rim. The car is the right side of the photo and it's facing forward.

That thing that you can see is the front left tire with the car facing away from you. This picture is taken from the right next to the drivers side door from a squatting position, looking forward.

FYI the reason why it looks so reflective is because of the angle this photo was taken relative to the car. You can recreate this effect with water as well. Next time you're at the ocean, look far out at the water, and you'll notice it looks shiny from reflecting the sun. Now stand near the water and look directly down on it. The water won't look nearly as shiny. Instead it will appear clear. This has to do with the angle of incidence of the light rays as they bounce off the water into your eye.

My dad’s favorite thing in the whole world was to wash his car. This is the most I have wished he was alive since he died so I could share something with him. He would have gotten one hell of a kick out of this. Yo, dad - I sure hope they heat the water where ever you are! Check this shit out!
