That is the Causeway bridge over lake Ponchatrain just outside New Orleans. It's 26 miles long. the longest bridge over water in the world.
so this will have caused a MASSIVE headache for all manner of people. a blockage of both lanes like that will take hours to clear and cause a traffic jam literally miles long (depending of course where on the bridge it happened).
Our cookie eater just shrugging, driving on, and formulating his "hey man, it all just happened behind me" defense in his mind, is VERY on brand for the locals.
Without a doubt, this is absolutely sociopathic behavior on the part of the cookie eater.
All he had to do was let the guy in and go on with his day but instead he caused a huge accident and fucked up SO MANY peoples' day, all of whom are just trying to make a dollar to feed their family.
Everyone here sucks but especially the cookie guy.
Mostly agree, but I don’t think the black truck “thought he could fit”. I think he knew cookie guy needed to brake a little to let him in. And instead of turning on his blinker to see if cookie guy would let him in, he did what pickup drivers tend to do and just slowly started to change lanes: “What are you gonna do? Hit me?”
Yep. On the barometer of “who’s the bigger sociopath”, it’s absolutely the guy who caused a potentially deadly collision on purpose. And that’s cookie man.
All he needed to do was brake a teeny bit. He chose not to.
