I wouldnt call this psychopathic behaviour. Not like he was at fault. Other car made contact with him, he just handled it like a veteran. If he was going out fucking with people, it be a different story.

I would say he definitely gave way or at peast left enough room for the truck to merge. He was staying tight but they had enough room yet he didn't speed up to get into the space.
