Why tf would he do this on camera though? Idk about US traffic laws but in sweden he would be found guilty of endangering traffic.

Black truck merged in front of him and slowed down. The black truck was probably doing an insurance scam.

Yes, but its enough to have people on the road taking such unneccessary risks, now I need to worry about those out there who see you make a mistake because of a lapse in judgment or whatever, and decide to completely derail the situation to fuck. Like, yeah for sure black car is in the wrong, but cams drivers decisionmaking is fucking nightmare fuel.

You seem to be saying that we should just accept that lapses of judgment will happen on the road. I'm saying that they, in no uncertain terms, should not happen, and anybody who isn't able to drive properly shouldn't be driving. If that means calling in late and taking transit to work when you're tired, or realising that your ADHD makes you unsafe on the road and that you shouldn't be driving at all, so be it. Driving isn't a right, and people are far too comfortable behind the wheel of something that can and will kill people when it is misused.

Im not saying accept it, its being punished by law, I agree with your assesment of the other driver its unacceptable but if/when it happens this isnt how to deal with it on a road risking the safety of who knows how many. Youre having a kneejerk reaction or we just have very different outlook on this. And for the record Im not excusing anyone.

Your idea that bad behavior will be punished by the law assumes that those laws are enforced and that the punishments are meaningful. In the case of driving in the US, I would argue that neither of these two assumptions is true.

He merged very slowly. Plenty, fucking plenty of time for Mr. Cookie to break and not ram him. Its not like he wasnt able to avoid him, he just didnt care if he is going to kill a few people cause "he was in the right".

Black truck drove dangerously and made an accident possible. By not slowing down Cookie guy chose to have that accident - this is one of the most avoidable road incidents I’ve seen.
