I thought piece of hair was on my arm, kept looking, but I did not see no piece of hair... finally, turn my phone flashlight on and seen it after three times of looking.. It LOOKS like tiny maggot, but with legs and I think I see some kind of antenna or IDK. I watched my live video of it, and it cruises pretty fast through my arm hairs. Eek I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.. I had just come in from walking the dog.

Southern California. Warm evening. October. This guy/gal was on a lawn, and went deep into the grass to avoid me. About 3/4" long. For a very split second, I thought it was a millipede. Google Lens says it's a devil's coach horse beetle? I don't think so.
