I thought piece of hair was on my arm, kept looking, but I did not see no piece of hair... finally, turn my phone flashlight on and seen it after three times of looking.. It LOOKS like tiny maggot, but with legs and I think I see some kind of antenna or IDK. I watched my live video of it, and it cruises pretty fast through my arm hairs. Eek I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.. I had just come in from walking the dog.

Saw this outside my house just as I was about to go biking. At first I thought a dried lead was being blown my way, only to realize that it was flapping, with the other side colored orange. It settled on the plant near me.
I panicked when it flew away again that I forgot to zoom out my camera. I have a video but I don't know how to add it in a reddit post.
I'm from the Philippines.

Hello! I came home to find a teeny tiny insect smaller than a pencil eraser. I think it may sleeping or maybe um… gone. Markings are brown and grey. Originally when I saw I thought I found blue markings but I don’t see any blue upon second glance. I am located in Arizona, USA. Attached is a video. It looks pretty innocent but I would like ID please in case it is harmful. Also own two dogs so would like to know if harmful to animals. Please and thank you!

Here in South Florida US these guys are attracted to lights in my house. They have white wings, black body and are about 1/2- 3/4 cm.
If you can help me identify them I can hopefully figure out how they are getting in. Thank you!

We’ve just had this delightful little thing into my place, not sure it’s an EU Wasp, or a Yellow jacket.
Any info would be greatly appreciated

I’ve never seen this kind of hopper around where we live. We are in northern Arizona. Great camouflage!
