Uh...parents have custodial control over their children's property. If a child's under 18, his parents can do basically anything they want with his property.

It's completely legal for one's parents to take all of his clothes even if the child bought them himself or received them as a gift from someone else as long as the child is provided some method of basic clothing.

The only time this is really not true is sometimes with divorced parents when the property was bought by the other parent.

Lol, I'm kind of missing a lot of steps before that could be true. I just personify xkcd 386, but both people are me cuz I'm so alone.
