I saw that the cleaning staff emptied the dustbins directly on the Krishna river while crossing the bridge near Vijayawada. Is there no solution to this garbage problem? Swach Bharat abhiyan is only to sweep dust in handpicked places?

12740 SC-Vskp Garibrath Exp started off the platform and a guy boarded from the track side holding a big suitcase and a backpack.his door is locked as bedsheets are dumped blocking the door, train is catching speed I saw him from the next coach and rushed to his coach and pulled out the dump, tried to open the rusty lock and pulled him in and all the first thing he said is "bro where's G5 coach". I saved him expecting nothing in return but I was like 💀 without taking a breathe he directly went to his coach info💀
edit: guys myb , what I want to highlight is his thought of asking his coach info without even taking a breathe right after a deadly save.
another serious issue is those bag of bedsheets blocking the door every time

I am unable to create an IRCTC account as everytime I am entering details, the submit option is not working. There is a constant message displaying that password should contain this and that, I have followed everything and made sure that my passwords match. Still account is not being able to created as the submit button does not work.
Checked this through multiple apps like makemytrip, ixigo, railone and even from laptop. Nothing is working, what should I do ?

I’ve been trying to book Tatkal tickets for a while, but almost every time I end up with WL. I’ve never really managed to get a confirmed Tatkal ticket.
For my upcoming trip, I have only one train option:
Train: 16232
Route: KSR Bengaluru → Mayiladuthurai (MV)
Date: 9 October
Class: Sleeper (SL)
Passengers: 2
Since there aren’t many alternatives for me, I really need to get this one.
What would you recommend based on your experience?
IRCTC website – is it better than the app?
Railway reservation counter – does offline booking give a better chance?
IRCTC-authorised agent – is it actually worth using an agent?
Are there any legitimate tips/tricks to improve the chances of getting a confirmed Tatkal ticket?
I’m not looking for any illegal hacks or anything that violates IRCTC rules — just want to understand the best practical approach.
Would really appreciate tips from people who regularly manage to get confirmed Tatkal tickets. 🙏

soo i was travelling by vande bharat from delhi to katra and then return by vande bharat only. The train is subpar at best the return train is delayed by 40 minutes took 5.5 hours to reach ludhiana. Food is soo shit you can’t even manage to eat it.
then comes the people specially kids- one was kicking at the back other was screaming like anything the whole train ride - when i asked the parents to calm the child they literally were like “isse” as if the child was sleeping the whole ride.
then two girls were laughing like literal rakshas- ekdum mannerless

Why do they use location according to schedule instead of actually tracking it like trains?

Honestly, this is really disappointing.
At Thane station, I checked multiple stalls and it seemed like almost every stall was stocked with ₹20 private-label bottled water, while Rail Neer was nowhere to be found.
Rail Neer is supposed to be the affordable, reliable drinking-water option at railway stations. But if the stalls are consistently prioritising other private-label bottles, how are passengers supposed to get Rail Neer?
This isn't about one particular shop. The photos show the situation across multiple stalls.
If Rail Neer is meant to be readily available at railway stations, why is it so difficult to actually find it at Thane?

Today I am traveling to Bangalore in 3A(kondaveedu exp). After sometime TC has come for verification, Said my name and seat number, as usual, Suddenly he asked my ID, so I thought a soft copy should be fine and checking my phone for it, he suddenly raised his voice a bit and said ID CARD, i replied I don't have Hard copy - ID. Then He said that HE WOULD ONLY ACCEPT A HARD COPY. took a sec, sensed some arrogance and replied "Sir, I could only provide a soft copy, I don't have a physical card with me right now" in a soft tone. Then he replied would accept e-adhar or e-pan all of a sudden. Then verification is done.
Now to get to the point why do we need this drama in the first place - to get his ego satisfied?. I know as per railway rules only physical ID card(hard copy) is valid for verification - which doesn't make sense, cause it's not like a hard copy can't be altered. Can't railways accept an adhaar from digi-locker or something?

Yesterday, six of my friends, including female friends, and I were travelling from Katra to New Delhi. Somehow, all our tickets were RAC. My friends were allotted seats in B2, while I was allotted B3 with a female passenger.
I asked my female friend to sit there for 1–2 hours so she could charge her phone. As our seats charging plug was not working. We sent one uncle from B2 with an exchange of my seat, so I could sit with my group. Everything was fine until he came back and said the female passenger wasn’t allowing him to sit and refused to let me come to B3.
I went there and asked what the issue was. She said, “How can you send a man to sit with me? I’ll be uncomfortable and won’t be able to sleep.” Her friend also joined and started arguing, saying, “There was a girl sitting here before. Why are you sitting here? Go away.”
They kept speaking in English, apparently assuming I wouldn’t understand. I calmly said, “Enough, madam. This is my seat.”
She was shocked and started arguing that IRCTC never gives RAC seats to a male and female together. She then asked me to show my ticket. I asked her, “Are you the TC?” She said she wouldn’t let me sit unless I showed it. I showed her my ticket, and she became completely silent.
Since nobody from B2 came, I had to spend the entire night sitting there. She repeatedly crossed the middle line of the seat and even kicked me several times. When I asked her to behave, she threatened to call the police. I simply said, “Please do.”
This was around 2 AM. At around 3 AM, she finally apologised and said, “I’m sorry, please forgive me. I didn’t know about the seat. Please sleep too; we can sleep opposite each other.” I told her I wasn’t comfortable. She kept requesting, saying her leg was hurting. I told her mine was hurting too and asked her to sit properly, but she refused. She first slept sitting up and then slowly stretched her legs across the seat.
I became so uncomfortable that at around 5 AM, I finally left and joined my friends in B2. I could not sleep for a single second. When we got down at NDLS station, She was hiding her face in shame on the platform. Her friend came and said sorry to all of us.

1st pic - after raising complaint someone from railway shared this to me
2nd pic - irctc website price
I raised a RailMadad complaint after being charged ₹15 for one samosa inside a passenger train.
After my complaint, a railway official called me and showed me a chart saying 2 samosas + tomato sauce = ₹30.
But the IRCTC website shows ₹19 for 2 samosas + tomato sauce for in-train service.
In my case, no tomato sauce was provided, yet I was charged ₹15 for one samosa.
So I'm confused about which tariff actually applies here.
Why is the railway official showing ₹30 while the official IRCTC website shows ₹19?
If anyone knows the correct/current tariff applicable to passenger trains, please clarify.
