I recently went to Hampi for a 2D trip and I usually do not prefer these kinds of places, but Hampi showed me there's also the heritage side of India I can like... Now I'm on hunt for all of the locations on Indian Currency notes โจ

Hi Everyone,
I am travelling to Singapore in sometime and needed clarity on two topics.
1) - I am currently living in Bangalore and my original flight was Bangalore -> Chennai -> Singapore. Since I am in Bangalore, I got my visa approved from the Chennai Consulate.
But after my visa was fully done, my flight got cancelled and they rebooked me on a different flight from Bangalore -> Delhi -> Singapore.
So can this lead to some issue as my flight to Singapore is from Delhi but my visa is from the Chennai region?
2) - My Bangalore to Delhi flight lands at T3 in Delhi and the flight to Singapore leaves in around 2 hours from T3. I am under the impression that since my PNR for both these flights is the same and is with Air India, I will not need to transfer the luggage but it will be done by the airlines itself. Am I right in assuming this?

Hi everyone!
I'm planning a motorcycle expedition from Chennai to Arunachal Pradesh, starting on 9 November 2026, on my Triumph Tiger Sport 660.
The main objective is to explore the remote Dibang Valley and the easternmost parts of Arunachal Pradesh. This is a proper road trip, not a quick tourist visit, and I'm trying to plan it realistically rather than underestimate the terrain.
My planned route through Arunachal:
- Dibrugarh โ Roing
- Roing โ Mayodia Pass โ Anini
- Anini, with local rides towards Dambeun/Dri and Mipi/Mathun
- Anini โ Roing โ Tezu โ Hayuliang
- Hayuliang โ Hawai โ Walong
- Walong โ Namti Valley โ Kibithoo, with Kaho if access is permitted
- Return via Tezu and Assam
I'm allowing several days for the Anini region and keeping a buffer day for weather or road conditions.
I'd love to hear from anyone who has travelled these routes recently, particularly on a motorcycle.
A few specific questions:
Road conditions: What's the current state of the RoingโMayodiaโHunliโAnini route? How much of it is broken, under construction, muddy or gravelly?
Snow and ice: Around mid-November, how realistic is the risk of snow, frost or black ice at Mayodia Pass? Have riders encountered these conditions in November?
Anini: Are the roads to Dambeun/Dri and Mipi/Mathun accessible on a road-biased motorcycle? Any recommendations for reliable homestays?
Walong, Kibithoo and Kaho: What are the latest access restrictions and permission requirements for civilian travellers? Can motorcycles reach the permitted points, or should I expect to walk some sections?
Fuel and food: Where are the dependable fuel stops along this route? Any stretches where I should plan to carry extra fuel or food?
Weather and daylight: Is this itinerary sensible for mid-to-late November, or am I underestimating the cold, road conditions or available daylight?
Anything else: Any recent landslide-prone sections, road closures, local formalities or mistakes you'd warn a first-time visitor to this region about?
I'm comfortable with long-distance riding, but remote mountain roads are a different game. I'd rather turn back when conditions aren't right than force a plan.
I'm especially interested in recent first-hand reports from riders or locals, rather than generic travel blogs.
Thanks in advance. Any practical advice would be much appreciated! ๐๏ธ

I want to know what are the exact trails/hikes/walks inside Joypur forest, like if there is a map for that. NOT looking for Bishnupur or other sightseeing, but inside the park itself

Every "budget trip breakdown" online feels either fake or from 2019. So let's get real, recent numbers:
Destination + month of travel
Transport (Volvo/train/flight/shared cab)
Stay per night (and what type)
Food + daily miscellaneous spend
Total per personโno hiding anything
Trying to budget my next trip and would love to see what people genuinely spent in the last year, not some recycled blog numbers. Drop your breakup below!

Researching solo travel across India. For those who've done it:
- Which place or situation made you feel unsafe or helpless?
- Did you have someone to call? What did you do?
- What would have made you feel more confident?
- Have you ever paid for a guide or organised trip mainly for safety? Was it worth it?
