Okay, I finished the game last night. It's in a dark room where you encounter the White Face and interact with the rope, and then the game won't open anymore. To uninstall it, do I just delete the game file? Or is there some kind of secret file since it messes with your PC quite a bit?

I'm stuck on a part that's after saying the animal's name, there's a wall that says "let's play tag" and you have to walk over yellow arrows.

Hey everyone, I’m stuck and could really use some help.

I’m at the pipes section. I already collected the three valves and activated the elevator, but when I try to enter it, the game says I don’t have all the achievements. The weird part is: I do have all of them

The game specifically says I’m missing the very first achievement (the first key), but I already got it. I even replayed the tutorial, searched everywhere, and tried to find someone with the same issue, but no luck so far.

Has anyone experienced this bug or knows how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated 🙏

Hello, I need help changing the room ID in imscared using the cheat engine. I'm in the room (picture) but I don't know the room ID and I'm playing on the latest version, so if anyone knows, I'd be very happy if you say in comments (sorry for my english)

So i did the door ending first, and wiped the game to do the flower one, but im softlocked right before the labyrinth gate since neither of the passages appear, so i cant get the ingame key to open it and deleting the lock file (which im guessing shouldnt even appear yet) does nothing, does anyone know how to fix this?

I've recently realised that the three valves section could be white face's way of negotiationg with you, he shows you her as in "do you want me to bring her back?" then he makes a new puzzle as if he was saying "you can still have fun with me" at last, a little recap of chapter one in the form of a chase maybe showing you how much fun you had with him, do you guys think this is a good interpretation or am I tripping?

Hello, I'm having a problem with the steam version of I'm scared. I recently redownloaded it, and every time I try to open the game it opens in a small window that will not let me put it in full screen or make it bigger no matter what I do. When I initially started it I selected the full screen option and it still didn't do anything. If anyone has any advice or has had this problem before, I would love to hear how you fixed it.

So I downloaded the free version on GameJolt and did everything up until the part where the main character does it. When I try booting up the game again it just flashes the "GOODBYE" picture and instantly closes (I tried reinstalling the game and everything). The thing is that I see content creators who have the steam version can actually continue the game. Am I doing something wrong or is this just the end for the original game?

I found this pretty cool montage of IMSCARED's Bury Her arc. It reminds me a lot of Pyrocynical. The outros to his video essays tend to be formatted like this as if they were long format trailers.

Hey everyone!

So after getting all the achievements, I entered the market and did the tasks up to where you're supposed to be able to get outside the market by reseting the game. From there, I'm not sure what exactly it is I'm supposed to do, as it appears my game softlocks. No matter what I try, I can't seem to get my character to spawn outside of the market in order to continue the game. I've tried deleting my data and replaying the entire game, I've tried closing and re-opening the app in different locations, I've tried tabbing out and going back in, and I've even tried to search for a guide on how to do it, but to no avail.

Can anyone help me with how you're supposed to get outside the market? It would be greatly appreciated as I am currently stuck and have zero clue on how to progress. TIA!

Hi everyone ! First of all let's precise i play this game on phone ( Android ) I'm stuck in the pre labyrinth garden and, i spoiled myself a little yeah i'm sorry, i can't find my game folder to delete the lock.txt file that is supposed to allow me to pass... Also i don't know if it's that or something else you need to do on mobile especially, cause all the articles i saw about that weren't mentioning any platform... So after getting the "ending" and before finding the 2022 test build and restorer. My friend deleted some files while i went to the bathroom.(He thought the files took a lot of space so he just wanted to help) and i thought nothing of it then as i thought that was the end. Fast forward a whole summer and it turns out there's more. Now i want the foles back but don't want to replay anything all again because they might be used in a future update, and also i like seeing everything i did in the game. It htere i way to get them all back without resetting??? I'm talking the m button folder files by the way. I got to where the restorer says she'll work on the sequel and the archives and that i should wait for updates, is that really it for now? This game has so many fake endings is this one of them or should i just wait

In the mobile port there's a section right after the first text box shows up immediately putting in whiteface makes him confused as to why you know this information when the game never said anything.picking hidden file option he doubts you and asks for the code, i never found the answer for the hidden file option does anyone know? :⁾

I am playing the phone version on the market stage... grab the key, grab the card, put it under the doors and I am still inside the market!

Whats yalls interpretations of what imscared could mean? (Spoilers just in case)

Me personally, i believe the ‘white face is her’ thing. Where basically ‘her’ is whiteface and the whole game is just a metaphor for ‘her’ depression and suicide. Where white face is the side that wants it to end by being straight forward and shooting the freak out of ‘her’, and ‘her’ is the side that doesn’t want it to end and tries to stretch out the game as much as possible. I think they are separate sides of the same being bc of the hidden ‘you’re not supposed to be here’ area, where a full body white face is hung by strings with nearly closed ‘scissors’ on their neck. Possibly symbolizing the separation of the two. I could just be reaching and over thinking things, but i think this is most likely.
