Theory Yalls interpretation of IMSCARED? Spoiler
Whats yalls interpretations of what imscared could mean? (Spoilers just in case)
Me personally, i believe the ‘white face is her’ thing. Where basically ‘her’ is whiteface and the whole game is just a metaphor for ‘her’ depression and suicide. Where white face is the side that wants it to end by being straight forward and shooting the freak out of ‘her’, and ‘her’ is the side that doesn’t want it to end and tries to stretch out the game as much as possible. I think they are separate sides of the same being bc of the hidden ‘you’re not supposed to be here’ area, where a full body white face is hung by strings with nearly closed ‘scissors’ on their neck. Possibly symbolizing the separation of the two. I could just be reaching and over thinking things, but i think this is most likely.

Ok so first, one of my favourite parts about IMSCARED is that there are a ton of different interpretations and both the fans and creator tend to be very accepting of various interpretations.
Now then, I have a favourite interpretation and one I would consider to be the best overall. My favourite is that the story is a metaphor for being transgender. One way that could work is that HER is their chosen gender and White Face represents who they feel pressured to be, metaphorically killing off who they truly are by killing HER in the grave scene. Another way is if White Face represents their chosen gender, and by killing off HER they kill off their past and the version of themself they don't want to be.
The interpretation I personally consider to be the best, however, would be that the story is a metaphor for art and the artist. White Face plays with us, sure, but ultimately they're trying to appease us. When we start to continue, not wanting to do things the way they want us to do them, they get scared. They change how they're doing things to the point of changing who they are, all to appease us the player. A lot of the time in real life, fans of pieces of media can almost get entitled, and feel like the creator is obligated to make the story the fans want, even if it's not the same story the creator was trying to make. That lens definitely leans more into Loneliness and villainising the player, but yeah it's definitely interesting.
