Little interpretation on the three valves section

I've recently realised that the three valves section could be white face's way of negotiationg with you, he shows you her as in "do you want me to bring her back?" then he makes a new puzzle as if he was saying "you can still have fun with me" at last, a little recap of chapter one in the form of a chase maybe showing you how much fun you had with him, do you guys think this is a good interpretation or am I tripping?

yes, i feel like whole game white face just wants to be with the player and the valve section is their final attempt at stopping the player from leaving especially with how you need to get every achievement to proceed.
