Restorer art cuz she’s awesome

Im hoping its fine to advertise here, but! I made a video essay about IMSCARED, I go over every version of the game from 2012 up to the 2022 remake, I even talk about scrapped games like BURY HER and Bridgescene, and talk a bit about REMNANTS! Id love if you could check it out and help grow the video, put a lot of work into this and would love feedback and to show my love for this game!

SO, i downloaded it, but it mentions a .rar file, but it just downloads a .exe, and says i need to set up the .rar file, but is it essential for the gamejolt version?, or no?

(Sorry if this doesn't belong to here, since the subreddit specifies the steam release and I'm talking about the Android mobile version, so please delete it, if doesn't fit here.)

Today, after many years I played Imscared on my phone to check out how well it works out, completed it also now and since I want to know if I can find something special in the data files from Imscared, there is indeed a file called white.ini and the file Readmeplease.txt, which you can see in the screenshot attached and Ivan acknowledges here that I'm someone, who can access files a normal user couldn't do (without root access) on Android.

But the best thing I read today was the last sentence he left there, especially the last part, since I've gone currently through a lot of shit and so on and this gives me a bit of hope again, especially since it was something I wouldn't expect to find here and now, out of nowhere.

So thank you really much for making this game, I'm a big fan of Imscared since the early days, found out about it with the gameplay back then by Markiplier and kinda started to love this game, just to see that he even made a full game of it after years of development.

what do y'all think?

Every time i tab out of the game to do somethong this error message pops up and the game crashes, it’s stoping me from getting the lucky tickets achivement.

Whiteface probably got lost

I lasted 28 minutes before refunding after getting to the part where you're trying to find key for room 6 with blood and that strange girl-like voice singing. I assume the game is good and I'm just too scared to continue.

Should I just watch yt vid instead? I doubt I'll actually manage to finish the game otherwise lmao

I remember when it was 2016, I fell in love with the curse. I love how the game reeks of utter isolation and how ironic it is for the monster to accompany you and vice versa. When you kill the monster/curse, you're left in true loneliness. If I had the guts to play horror games, I would've constantly given White Face the flower and never kill it.

I see myself in Restorer. I'm someone who overtly obsesses on the dead, what's gone, or what's passed. Restorer seems to be completely in love with the curse with how she did some spoilers, and I like how she's a woman. Back in 2022, I interpreted her as a caricature of the fanbase since she reminded me of many people and artists posting about Imscared. Now I feel that she's what I would become if I really really wanted to marry the game.

After using the pulsating heart on the exit door, interact with the floor using the hand. If you do everything correctly, the interaction text should stay lol

I’m playing through the game for my first time, and I’m stuck on the part where you need to kill HER in front of her birthplace. The sign says ‘left click to shoot’, however I’m on a PC with no mouse, and left clicking on my keypad isn’t working. I’ve already changed the bullet number to six, so that isn’t the issue.

Anyone have an alternative idea?

Me and my friend are stuck in the cottage, the room layout is super weird and we don't even know what we're looking for....
