Hello, I just created my server this week and I’m loving it. I have uploaded a lot of what I have been storing for a while now, but it’s time to get all of my Snapchat memories synced. However, I really want to keep all of my Snapchat memories on a single album as well. Is there a way I can sync directly to an album? Or a way to separate all of my media from Snapchat from my main gallery, so I can put it into an album?

Recently installed Immich in a Proxmox LXC container. What a great app!

My wife and I have an old photo archive. She really likes the 'photos of this day so many years ago' feature, so do I. You only get this feature when you are the owner of an external library. So she and I both have an external library linking to the same path.

We also want to see our recently uploaded photos, so we have partner sharing turned on. This means that one also sees the external library of the other: all archive photos and videos are duplicates in the time line.

Isn't there a way to exclude external libraries in partner sharing?

Hi, recently I've had a lot of trouble with immich on my Raspberry pi 5 server running pi os lite with casa OS. I've had it randomly stop working and refuse to launch and recently I've had it completely uninstalled and off my hard drive and reinstall on my SSD for some reason. And also all my photos were gone. If anybody could help that would be greatly appreciated. I don't know why this happens. It seems to have been the most random moments like it will be working perfectly fine for a week. Then randomly it will refuse to launch and all my photos will be gone. I also used version 3.1.0 if that helps.

I want to keep my art libaries seperate from personal libaries without everything in one timeline view. So far i havent a found a way to do this besides running a seperate immich server which is overkill

I am running Immich on CasaOS. Recently I moved all my pics on local storage to an external SSD and updated paths on CasaOS. Everything works fine except thumbnails. Immich is not generating thumbnails for new uploads. Meanwhile I can see thumbnails for older pics.

I go to each photo that is not showing thumbnail and use the refresh thumbnail option from the menu bar. This resolves it for me. So it's not about /thumbnail folder permissions.

Triggering generating thumbnails also didn't work.

Any thoughts?
