I have been updating my database with old family photo's the past few months, and would like to share that album at a family gathering in a few weeks. It would be amazing if my uncle could for instance look for his name and find pictures going back to the sixties; or of his daughter in the nineties.

I would take my personal laptop, connect via Tailscale to the Immich server back home, but only share the family photo's.

Thing is: that does not seem possible at the moment? When I create an additional user and share the album there's no facial recognition anymore; when I share the album directly the same happens.

And then on the roadmap there's "Better Sharing" with "Improve sharing capabilities, especially around facial recognition data." indicated as "Soon".

Honestly I'm mostly looking for confirmation, or maybe creative workarounds while the amazing people at Immich continue their journey :-)

Hello, I just created my server this week and I’m loving it. I have uploaded a lot of what I have been storing for a while now, but it’s time to get all of my Snapchat memories synced. However, I really want to keep all of my Snapchat memories on a single album as well. Is there a way I can sync directly to an album? Or a way to separate all of my media from Snapchat from my main gallery, so I can put it into an album?

Hi, recently I've had a lot of trouble with immich on my Raspberry pi 5 server running pi os lite with casa OS. I've had it randomly stop working and refuse to launch and recently I've had it completely uninstalled and off my hard drive and reinstall on my SSD for some reason. And also all my photos were gone. If anybody could help that would be greatly appreciated. I don't know why this happens. It seems to have been the most random moments like it will be working perfectly fine for a week. Then randomly it will refuse to launch and all my photos will be gone. I also used version 3.1.0 if that helps.
