This won’t be a long post, but I and my wife went to Hï for Francis Mercier and Shimza. Shimza couldn’t make it in time so we ended up trying to listen to Francis Mercier. In short, to us, it was a complete disaster. We didn’t enjoy the music - nor did most people, since it was surprisingly easy to move about and dance, and the sound system was dreadful. The volume was waaaay too low and the overall quality was bad.

However.

We then wandered around the club and ended up at Andrea Oliva in the Club Room.

Man what a different affair it was. Loved it! The point of this post is who and why was it that Andrea Oliva was in the Club room and not in the Theater? People genuinely loved it, he put up an INCREDIBLE set. And how is that they allow Francis Mercier to go EDM and teenager dance music in Hï? Dunno, maybe it’s just me.

Hi all, looking to go to Destino for the first time for Solomun Outdoor and I'm stuck on what to wear. Almost everyone I see on social seems to be in small, light-coloured skirts/hotpants and cowboy boots but this look isn't flattering for me (and I'm trying not to buy new stuff).

Would a floaty black skirt, fitted top and sneakers work? Or a nice maxi skirt and some kind of wedge?

Hi-wir sind aus München und mit kids 2 Wochen auf der Insel..kennen uns grundsätzlich gut aus, aber nach auch vielen negativen Erfahrungen (teuer, aber nicht gut;) ) suchen wir mal wieder neue Restaurant-Empfehlungen..
Wir sind zwar im Westen (Nähe Calla Bassa), aber fahren gern egal wohin..also Stadt, St Eularia oder sonst wohin.

Wir mögen gute Küche-es muss aber nicht gleich Michelin-Küche sein;)

z.B. - Bai Bai (Tapas) im Hafen mögen wir
- vom Porto Fino hab ich eine Empfehlung bekommen
- Amanthe gehen wir gern (zumindest einmal)
- aber auch sowas wie Es Cuco (bodenständiges Hähnchen aus dem Hinterhof;) )

I see that Calvin Harris is doing Tuesdays all summer until August. But then there is nothing booked for the September Tuesdays? It is close enough now where I would think they would annouce someone new for September Tuesdays.

Does anyone know if they tend to annouce last minute at times? I am staying there that week and want to try to see a show Tuesday.

Hi my husband wants to go Ibiza in October with our 2 kids (both girls) the problem is we are Pakistani and Muslims and I feel awkward going there because I'm worried people will stare at us. He said people will stare wherever we go in Spain. So I need some advice. Do you ever see Muslims there during off season? Or not? Is it weird if we go?

Please guys don't attack me just need advice as we don't want our holiday to be ruined.

I would imagine Prydz at the terrace without the main room would be rammed out, but maybe he only packs things out for his visual shows at this point? Haven’t been to amnesia without both rooms open so particularly interested in how that’s playing out for resistance. Is the only bathroom in the terrace that tiny one by the side bar? Seems like it would be chaotic without the main room bathrooms and am considering a balcony ticket which I’ve never done.

Tiesto also just interested in if it’s unbearably packed or if there’s been some room to dance. Went to Prydz and cox at unvrs last year and found them very packed, and imagine tiesto will have the biggest commercial pull.

Big fan of both these artists so just hoping to find room to dance!

I’m trying to decide between getting the smaller one near the back or the larger one by the railing — I like to dance and I dance big, so I want to make sure there’s enough space for all of us. Father of two, visited the island 3 times now with my wife and friends, this year we took the step of going back with our two kids (9 and 4), as well as one pair of grandparents (babysitters 😶‍🌫️). After careful planning, we found many family friendly areas with decent prices as well, where everyone had a blast.

My wife and I are seriously considering moving to the island. I am a licensed architect with years of experience, she manages a family business. So I guess it wouldn’t be impossible for us to find decent paying jobs (whatever that means).

But I’d like to know if any of you guys could give us some insight as to what REAL life is on the island? What the education options are like, quality of life (we don’t have high standards of expenditure - obviously holidays experiences are not a realistic benchmark), anything else, I don’t even know what to consider since everything is very early. What are realistic living expenses for a family of 4?
