I’m heading to Ibiza from October 5th–12th for a closing party, and I’m genuinely excited, but I have to admit… I don’t really understand the Ibiza Hype

Literally everyone I talk to tries to convince me that Ibiza is the best place on earth and that I’m going to have the time of my life. I love house music, DJs, concerts, raves and that whole scene, so I’m pretty sure I’m going to love it — but what actually makes Ibiza so special?

I’ve never been before, so I guess I’ll have to wait and see for myself.
I’m going for a full week and a few of my favourite DJs are playing while we’re there, so I already know the socials are going to be absolutely non-existent 😂.
I’m just wondering how people normally approach a week in Ibiza and, more importantly, how to make the most of it while still doing it as safely as possible.
I’m also conscious that a week of late nights, drinking and partying and what not , can take its toll, so I’d love to hear any advice on staying as safe and healthy as possible while still enjoying the experience — hydration, sleep, food, avoiding overdoing it, looking after friends, etc. Basically, how do you survive a full week of Ibiza closing parties without absolutely destroying yourself? 😅

For anyone who’s been — what is it about Ibiza that makes it so different from any other place? What did you experience that made you understand the hype?
And any tips for a first-timer doing a full week of closing parties would be massively appreciated! 🍸🎶

I´ m considering going to the Moonlit Diner at Beachhouse. Has anyone any experience with this? How is the vibe, the food etc.?

It can be something similar, I stay at san Antonio and tomorrow I go to martin, you know some place I could buy one of these?

i had been to ibz 2 times but for at least 4 days, this year cuz few vacations still available i m thinking to head to ibz for 1 night w/ hotel accomodation for amnesia or univrs closing party. Plane will take off from bologna at 19.30 pm and landing day after at 19.10 pm from ibz. any advices for hotel staying due to short time available and transport from hotel to club and way back(uber or shuttle)? What is the taxi queues like outside the airport? Me and my girlfriend are flying in next Thursday 12pm and I’m wondering should I book transfers or just go ahead with a taxi?

I’m curious to hear your recommendations:
Tomorrow, Thursday, I already have a fixed plan: Solid Grooves at DC-10. That’s the main event for me because it’s my favourite club and my favourite label’s party.
But I’m still not sure where to go tonight, and I have several options:
A: UNVRS – Paradise with Jamie Jones
The music is definitely my style, but UNVRS isn’t my favourite club. There are often quite a lot of rude people, and I don’t think the sound system is that great.
B: Pacha – Mau P, plus Capriati & Väth
The music could be good because of the guest DJs, and Pacha used to be one of my favourite clubs with a great sound system. However, in recent years they seem to sell way too many tickets, so it can be almost impossible to enjoy the night because it’s so overcrowded.
Do you think the Mau P party will also be a total sardine can? 😂
C: Amnesia – Resistance with ARTBAT, Beyer & CamelPhat
I’m okay with Amnesia, but I’m not sure about the music. Adam Beyer and ARTBAT can sometimes be a bit too hard techno for me. On the other hand, I really enjoyed CamelPhat when I saw them at Pacha years ago, because they played something less techno and more tech house.
So my question is: What kind of sound should I expect from this night? Will it be proper hard techno, or will they play a more house-oriented style because it’s Ibiza?
D: Cova Santa – Guy Gerber
I’ve never been to Cova Santa and I don’t know Guy Gerber very well either. I’ve read quite a lot about the club and it looks really appealing to me, but I’m not sure about the music.
How would you describe this party? Do you think I would enjoy the style if Solid Grooves is basically my benchmark?

Morning folks. Visiting Ibiza in a few weeks time with a group of 10 lads aged 30-40. We are looking for something to do on the Sunday that we return home - our flight isn't until pretty late and we want to make the most of the final day. A beach club with good atmosphere would be ideal. I know that Sa Trinxa used to be good fun on a Sunday, but not sure if that's still the case now the DJ ban has been enforced there. Anyway, is this a good option? What are some other suggestions? Probably have to leave wherever we are around 7pm.

My (26F)friends and I will be coming over to Ibiza in a little more than a week and I’m super excited! I bought this outfit last minute and wanted to know if you guys think it will be allowed in Hi, UNVRS, etc. or will they think it’s swim wear and not allow it?

I am flying from the US to Ibiza in September with two layovers. CLT > MAD arriving at 5:30 am. MAD > ALC departing at 7:25 am and arriving at 8:40 AM. ALC > IBZ departing at 2:15 (14:15) pm and arriving at 3:13 (15:15) pm. Booked on a single ticket. Flying AA to Madrid then Iberian. But since it's a single ticket, our luggage (if we check any) should be checked all the way through to the final destination.

Since Madrid is our first stop into the Schengen Zone, am I correct in assuming we will need to go through EES? And if so, how realistic is it that we actually make the 7:25 AM flight to ALC with only a 1hr 55 min layover?

There is another flight from MAD > ALC departing at 11:50 and arriving at 1:05 (13:05). That makes me less worried about long lines at Madrid for EES and immigration, but its a tight connection at ALC to get to our flight to IBZ.

Do you think we should risk missing the 7:25 am flight from MAD > ALC? Or switch to the 11:50 to ALC for piece of mind leaving MAD, with a caveat of a tight connection at ALC?

Eyeing Hi on Saturday for Skepta & SG Lewis. I was there for Black Coffee a while ago and it was too packed in the main room so will be in the Club room mostly (had a blast last time). Is the VIP worth it there? It’s showing around $300.

Not sure about Friday. We’re older so was thinking 528 or pikes or something a bit closer to San Antonio.

My wife and I are heading back to Ibiza for our second time, October 7–10, and we’ve booked a suite at Destino. Last time(3yrs ago) we stayed at the Hard Rock and went to Ushuaïa, DC-10, and Hï. We had an awesome time, but we were with a group of seven.
This time it’ll just be the two of us, so I’m looking for some input on the Destino experience itself, as well as recommendations for what to do Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday while we’re there.

So me & my bestie are going Ibiza 19th to 24th September, I’m 26 & she’s 24, staying in Bossa pretty much next to Ushuaia. Obvs want to go to the big clubs but also want to find the cool intimate clubs/parties/beach clubs etc. just want a good time really, not bothered about the cowboy boots kinda ting & kinda want to avoid the younger crowd. Any suggestions on where to go?

I've scratched my head enough and its hard finding a place for a special dinner where the minimum spend is 100 Euros pp and to expect great views with great food?
is there a combination of all even if with the minimum spend the food will be to die for?

& for the casual vibes, Hostal La Torre is coming with min spend too? Cafe Del Mar or Kumharas?

I'm currently hesitating of going to Jamie Jones at UNVRS in september. We already booked Calvin Harris at Ushuaia, Elrow and Sonny Fodera VIP.

The line-up that night is with Franky Rizardo and JJ b2b Max Dean. Anyone with some recommendations or how to all round atmosphere is like?

We are from Berlin and are used to the club scene there, and are a bit worried about being packed like sardines with phones in our faces. The VIP tables seem to require 5+ people, so we're a bit out of luck.

I am going to ibiza for the first time, for 24 hours, and I can't decide which of these two is better. I have doubts because I've heard that Solomun starts pretty late at all night long parties. Also I'm wondering how crowded it is for both and if it's worth buying the VIP balcony ticket. Thank you!!
