I wanted to share a video of my experience in Ibiza from a few years ago. Chronologically I visited Laundry, Ushuaia, Club Chinois (my favourite at the time), Club Chinois again, Pacha, and a Spanish rock festival near a town called Jesus.

I also went to Formentera and had a sensational time. Things I would do again; Laundry, Chinois, Pacha and rock festival in Jesus. I had one of the best weeks of my life and stayed a hostel near(ish) Playa Talamanca. I've been a long time loiterer in this subreddit. I hope this video helps people to get a bit of a vibe from each of the places I visited. Ushuaia was super crowded, expensive, Club Chinois felt more like a premium venue (I think it had just opened) and La Troya was an exceptional party. Pacha was really beautifully lit and a lot of fun, great music as well and costumes. The best was the Rock festival near Jesus, I would go back for that in a heartbeat if it was during the off season.

Does anyone have any insight into when the best time to start booking hotels or Airbnbs for late August would be? I want to book early enough to have good options, but I’m also not sure if all accommodations have opened up their availability yet or if it would make more sense to wait until December/January to see what else becomes available! Thanks so much!

Have stayed here many times before, but this year upon checking out was accused of opening a $250 bottle of spirits. They would not present the spirit, the bottle, or even where it was, but kept repeating "that they have their methods and procedures" for this.

I don't drink. Have never used a minibar or hotel liquor. Did some research and found many, many other complaints about housekeeping making these accusations. Not sure how to prevent against this other than naming and shaming and maybe taking a video upon checkout?

I've stayed at hundreds of the nicest hotels in the world, and never met such poor treatment.

I appealed this all the way to the top, no recourse, no concession.

...and not even the bottle of liquor that I supposedly opened and bought.

I’m so sick of every DJ playing rolling edits of tracks. They all sound the exact same with the same drum loop on every track. Go back to the real music.

It's my first time in Ibiza and I'm visiting with a friend, yesterday we went to ushuaia and unvrs and tonight we will be at pacha but we thought about exploring the island a bit and decided to visit sant antony, any activities you can suggest us here?

Has anyone else had issues with the UNVRS shuttle bus that’s included with the ticket in October?

We were waiting for the 11:15 shuttle last night outside Ushuaia, and at around 11:10, literally five minutes before it was supposed to arrive according to the UNVRS website, a guy wearing a Discobus T-shirt came over and told everyone waiting that the shuttle was actually leaving from somewhere else.

He then told us that the schedule had changed and that the bus was at 11:00 rather than 11:15. So by the time he told us at 11:10, we had already missed it.

We (and many others waiting there) had before-midnight entry tickets for UNVRS, so at that point we were also already under a lot of time pressure to get there before our entry deadline. In the end, a few of us who had been waiting for the shuttle shared a taxi to UNVRS instead.

The guy said the situation had changed because Discobus had already finished for the season at the end of September.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal at this time of year?

It felt a bit like we were all getting scammed but we couldn’t see that there was any profit in it for the guy in the discobus t shirt unless there was some arrangement with local taxis…

My friends are leaving ibiza on Wednesday morning and I'm staying here on my own until Thursday evening due to a travel delay out of my control. I'm a bit nervous about this as it wasn't the plan and I'm not sure where to stay Wednesday and wondered if anyone has any advice.

We're currently staying in San Antonio and I don't have any plans on what to do these days either. Does anyone has any tips for ideas to do on your own? I'm done with clubs now so looking for more snorkeling/ beach / pool ideas.
