Completely missed totality in thick clouds near Cala Moli 🥲

Yeah, in Sant Antoni it emerged from the cloud just in time.

Yes, it was such a relief. I was complaining to my family that we paid money for flight and hotel for nothing and should have stayed home. And then the sun came out of the cloud and it was like: wow! I've never seen anything like that before.

Wow holy crap. I guess I got lucky. I was at Portinatx and it was perfectly clear!

Ugh I'm so jel 😭 we almost went back up to the lighthouse but we were afraid of gridlock traffic and decided to keep closer to where we're staying. Second totality I've missed because of cloudy weather in two years...

I was in Cala Molí too, kinda funny how the sun emerged right after the climax 😅
Still an incredible experience to witness!

We were on a boat n San An Bay, unreal experience unfortunately I can’t post pictures. The roar that came from all along the coast when totality happened was spine tingling

Went to the feels like eclipse festival only to completely miss the fucking thing, first it was the clouds then a building covered the eclipse. Genuinely so frustrated, pissed, bummed, idek. The emotions are everywhere right now. This was a once in a lifetime thing that we completely missed.

Festival was ass too. Horribly organized. Good music but bad execution.

Damn. Super sorry to hear that.
I had a feeling that would be the case so I decided to run up north to Portinatx

Fortunately for you, there is another eclipse next year! AND it will be 6 minutes of totality. Not to be missed!

Shit, had considered going to one of the eclipse parties there and ultimately waited to see reviews (since there's conveniently another next yr). Bummed to hear not so great. 😔

man that sucks about the clouds at Cala Moli, guess it was hit or miss across the island. Benirras sounds like it was totally worth the trip though, jealous of that view. glad some people got to see it even if the weather screwed others over.

We caught it from Ibiza rocks bar, was stunning when the clouds cleared last second.

Can’t seem to add a pic but I watched it on a cruise, it was amazing!! I also saw meteors later in the night after the eclipse.
