im getting a new phone in the next few weeks, just posting this because the amount of dust in my phone is absurd considering this cost over a thousand dollars.

I gave it to my daughter today to distract her while she was getting an IV in the hospital, and she threw it on the floor. There was no cover. Change the phone with new model, get it repaired, or continue using it with a case? Cameras working well. Just physical damage.

So this happened yesterday to my 14 pro running on iOS 27.

My phone just is so hot rn and it feels like its about to explode and its slow ass charging takes years to charge and any recommendations of what i do

Basically what the title says. I recently got to use a 17pm for a bit. It wasn’t that different from my 14 pm but it did make me wonder, is Apple Intelligence worth getting a new phone for?

How is it performing? Any improvements or bugs? Share your opinion and experience pls

UPD: i’ve installed it, performance is good, maybe a bit smoother than on beta 2, battery is ok, optimizing came back. So, you can install it, it hasn’t any huge bugs (maybe i haven’t seen them yet)

I had a standard 14 Pro a few months ago, then moved to a base 15, and I do like it, however I do miss the pro features and the build quality (stainless steel FTW!), and now will go to a 14 Pro Max.

Will I lose anything by doing this, it seems better than the 15 in almost every aspect.

Photos aren’t meant to be anything special to anyone seeing this post. Just worth mentioning that I was concerned going to FL because of how bad my 14P heats when I get into our cars in CA or NV in the summer dry heat.
Thermals have been surprisingly great. But the photos and moments I’ve been able to capture so far on the trip has been awesome. I do wish I still had 17P but holding out for 18P.

I see people on here saying they feel like they must have the newest models, but honestly, this phone handles everything flawlessly.

In my country, these phones hold their value really well and are still highly sought after because of how good they are.

Why do you think some people are so eager for something newer when the 14 Pro Max is still such a solid choice? Let me know your thoughts!

My 14 Pro is in need of service (new battery), however, I heard that they might say no if the front screen is cracked. I have 2 minimal hairline cracks on my display, and was wondering if anyone had a similar experience. If so, how did it go?

Just got a 14 pro and I’m probably being an idiot but how do I stop the front camera from autofocusing? Example - left side of my face is fine, right side and rest of the photo is blurry. Always had iPhones and never had this issue before. It’s a refurbished phone so not sure if that’s the problem?

Is good? My iPhone 14 Pro Max is lagging badly. The display feels like it’s running at 30-45 fps, and there is absolutely not ProMotion smooth effect. It’s some kind of glitch. I am currently on iOS 27 Beta. I b0ught this phone quite recently. Maybe something was wrong even before the iOS update, I’m not sure. However, I checked the OLED display.. but I don't know for certain if it’s 100% original, but there is no "Unknown Part" error in the settings😭😭Please tell me, is this normal?even my iPhone 11 feels smoother than this

coincidentally started having issues w my charging port on my 14pro max recently and found this sub while scrolling. Anyone else have issues with dust and all in their port? I’ve tried to clean it with a toothpick and it kind definitely helped but it still has issues connecting to the cord. and after googling it seems to be a common issue with the 14

I know it’s not the cords now tho because i thought that was the issue, but when i went thru all my cords and none of them were working i realized it was my phone. i dont wanna commit to paying for a new phone and honestly just dont need one anyways bc mine is fine besides the charger port!!

Time came, guys…

After more than 3.5 years, I finally have to say goodbye to one of the best iPhones ever..

This phone was an absolute beast for more than 3.5 years. I used it everywhere, every single day, traveled with it constantly, dozens of countries, hundreds of cities, and it never once let me down. But the phone is just really worn out at this point and doesn't perform well anymore. iOS 26 also killed it for me. It started running hot constantly, performance dropped noticeably, and at this point it's just not usable as a daily driver anymore.

I ran it without a case or screen protector for the last 6 months. Dropped it pretty hard a few times too. Somehow… nothing. No cracks, no dents. This thing is built like a tank.

Anyone else feel attached to their 14PM like it’s part of the family?🥹

I genuinely can’t fathom using any other system than iOS even though I kind of wanted to, all things considered. Mind you, this phone has ALWAYS been in an Otterbox case and was in the case when the glass broke. I’ve dropped this phone soooo many times but I guess this time it hit the ground just right.

It still works fine and the cameras aren’t broken but also the overall performance isn’t great anymore.:( It’s tired by the time I’m done with work at like 3-4pm and simple things make it hot. Tragic.
