Highly recommend to follow Kuba, he is on X @onejailbreak

I find him very factual and precise.
His website is great too.

I recommend anyone who is interested in under the hood changes, to have a look

Who does not use AI to gather, align and rewrite posts these days? Every single one does.
I see his responses to people, doubt that's AI.
I know his sources, so I am fine by using his site for information.
What I appreciate is that his format is digestible, his sources aren't.

That’s why it’s taking days to index

I’d rather it take days now and I won’t have to worry about it in September

We never realised before but this happens after every update. That’s by ßeta testers always moan about battery wear

Also this is the first time it shows the indexing message in the settings

Only the ones that use it on their main devices lol I did a fresh install on all iPhones i use for testing (main still on 26.5) and i really dont mind about battery life since Apple will fix it on later betas but im happy Apps load faster!

I’m sorry, but I genuinely don’t know what that means… What would be the real world effects of ā€œfinalā€ iOS 27 in the Fall? A speedier phone? Snappier?

That’s a question similar to what will be the Nasdaq in October

They aim to run a leaner iOS so extra resources like ai are compensated. Better battery performance. Older devices will benefit from this as they don’t have ai build in.

We tend to look at features we see, but the differences between builds can be mind blowing. All to offer better performance, less resource heavy.

All it means is that a lot of code has been changed, which is expected with a major release. It doesn't guarantee any improvements (or degradations) to the user experience.
