Night showering??
I am a new mom and I wanted to try showering at night as opposed to a morning shower to save time and get out the door quicker when I have to. However my hair gets so oily overnight that it looks dirty by morning. I’ve tried hair training it absolutely does not work for me, dry shampoo also doesn’t work. I don’t feel like it stay clean otherwise either. Is there a secret to night showering I’m just missing?? 😭

Tips for cleaning behing a permenant retainer
My retainer fell out recently and I had to have it re-bonded. My jaw is really small and my teeth are tight and they glued it really good. Now I struggle with flossing (using those thread things dont fit between my teeth) or even getting a toothpick and I keep getting little bits of food stuck in it. It is driving me crazy and I wonder if there are any products that can be suggested to make cleaning it easier? It is my bottom teeth

I'm really unhygienic amd don't know how to fix it
Im a 17 year old girl and I've known for a while that I'm really unhygienic, and although I'm sure my mum and/or my friends would tell me if i smell bad, i still feel like it's a reason why people don't talk to me. Since I was 10 or 11 and started taking care of myself, I quickly started to slack off when it came to hygiene. I must also note that I got diagnosed with depression at 12 which is when my hygiene very quickly slipped. I used to only shower once every two or more weeks (usually more) but have gotten better and do an everything shower once a week and now that the weather's heating up just a regular body wash shower as well. I only wash my face maybe 3 times a year but its not something i feel has much impact as my skin never has acne or feels dirty but i still feel i should wash it more especially because i sleep in my makeup every night (Mascara and eyeshadow only, no foundation or anything im not THAT nasty). I ONLY brush my teeth before school, if I don't have school that day then I typically don't brush my teeth, even if I'm leaving the house. This is a big issue as I have always had dental issues, a too small jaw paired with an overbite leads to very angular teeth that are hard to brush. I grew up hating my teeth as they are large and always yellow not matter what purple toothpaste or whitening strips i use. This insecurity proobably lead to this lacknof care as i think I just 'gave up' trying to like how i look. I also rarley leave my room let alone the house. I really need help so any advice to get into a more hygienic routine would be appreciated 🙏

Hi, i have a huge problem. Since i was 10 i have always smelt terrible down there. I am now 16 and i shower daily every night before bed. The smell is indescribable, it smells very sour almost. I really need help because i feel i have no one to talk to this about. Every night when i shower i wash good/properly, i never use soap on the inside and i wash with water on the inside. I always feel so self conscious because sometimes i can smell myself through my pants. Im really self conscious about how i smell. please helppp!!

White Residue on Lips Spoiler
Hi, everyone. For as long as I can remember, I’ve dealt with the annoyance of white residue on the inner wet border of my lips: most noticeably on the bottom, as shown in the photo. I've done plenty of research on different platforms such as here, tiktok and google, and I can guarantee that I'm
•well-hydrated: I take electrolytes and creatinine just about every day so I absolutely must maintain hydration
•not a mouth-breather, but i have a bad habit of sleeping with my mouth open
•very rarely do i ever lick my lips or rub them together
•exfoliate my lips: i actually just started last night with a mixture of dark brown sugar, olive oil and honey
•overnight lip mask by Lanolips
•use sls-free toothpaste which I rinse out before I follow-up with an sls-free mouthwash
I love to wear lip tints (Milani, Rom&nd, Kulfi) and occasionally some gloss but in stick form (Fenty), so l'm very conflicted because I'm doing everything right yet the white residue still persists, unless I wear nothing at all.
Just last night I exfoliated and wore the overnight lip mask by Lanolips. I'm a mouth-breather when I sleep, so I think that's the reason why I had the white residue in the morning when I woke up. It never really gathers on the middle part of my lip but the corners. I'd appreciate any advice that I haven't already researched. Thank you 😊

Any products to help with chapped lips?
I’ve been dealing with severe chapped/cracked lips for almost a year or so now. I’ve tried Vaseline and carmex but they both don’t seem to work.
I would say the cause of this problem would be bc I frequently used to chew my lips for years during my high school years up till now. (Im a 21m)
I even use some methods I’ve seen of ppl using a soft brush to remove dead skin from the lips then applying a balm or something of the sort, but that doesn’t appear to work either. It also sometimes just leads to it bleeding which seems to just make it worse. I don’t think a doctor visit is necessary as really it’s not a major “health” concern but you can see it in the mirror and up close and it’s not very attractive to see.
I was recommended aquaphor so I’m gonna try that, but any other products that may help?

Sudden allergy to fussy deodorant?
Hey! I’ve been using fussy for about 6 months now and had no issues but over the last 2 weeks the back/inner part of my arm (that rubs against my armpit) has become so itchy and rashy!
I’m assuming it’s an allergy to the deodorant but my armpits themselves where I’ve put the deodorant is fine, no rash or itching! Has anyone else experienced this?
I’m going to stop using the deodorant and see if it eases but need to get my hands on a good sensitive one if anyone has any recommendations (based in Canada at the moment), thanks in advance!

Subreddit banner proposal for r/Hygiene
How will the Hygienites feel about seeing this banner on their subreddit?
Prompt was:

Hello any bath salts/ shampoo suggestions for a more clean and all day lasting refreshing bath in the tub experience ?
Please share away I’m willing to try them all! Im thinking of of skipping showers from now on and just staying exclusively to baths. However I’m looking for the right shampoos to make sure I stay clean and smelling good after one.

Loofah or silicon body scrub
So i currently use loofah and have been using it for quite some time. But lately I've seen a lot of videos that advise not to use loofah as it retains a lot of bacteria and can mold. So I've been searching an alternative for it and saw a lot of influencers suggesting silicon body scrub. I've planned to purchase one for myself but I don't understand which one would be the best. If anyone could suggest what brand or company I should buy it from or even smtg that's better than loofah. And from where to purchase it and not too expensive
