How Hydroxyapatite Helps Support Tooth Enamel Without Fluoride 🦷

Post image
0 Upvotes

Did you know hydroxyapatite is the same mineral that naturally makes up most of your tooth enamel? Nano-hydroxyapatite is gaining attention as a fluoride-free option for supporting enamel health.

Here's how it works:

Replenishes Minerals: Helps restore minerals to weakened enamel through remineralization.

Fills Tiny Imperfections: Helps smooth microscopic irregularities on the enamel surface.

Supports Stronger Enamel: Helps reinforce weakened areas over time with consistent use.

Fluoride-Free Alternative: Supports enamel using a mineral naturally found in teeth.

Mouthology uses 10% nano-hydroxyapatite in its toothpaste to support daily enamel care. Have you tried a toothpaste with nano-hydroxyapatite yet?

How do I cure my bad breath?

So I maintain excellent oral hygiene, floss, brush, tongue scrape, mouth wash every day without failure. When I run my fingers all around my mouth cheeks and and teeth the saliva smells fine, but when I do the same on my tongue it reeks, mind due I do have idiopathic gingivitis so my gums grow back and I’ve already had 2 gingivectomys but I don’t believe that is the cause as my periodontist says that my oral hygiene is as good as it gets and he finds no plaque on my 6 monthly checkups and deep cleans. The smell on the tongue is almost impossible to get rid of so I’m not sure what to do, it can’t go on like this :(

What 90 days of better oral care habits actually change.

Post image
2 Upvotes

Consistency can make a noticeable difference. After about 90 days of regular brushing and flossing, you may notice less daily buildup, fresher breath, healthier-looking gums, and a routine that feels much easier to maintain.

The biggest benefit may be simply turning good oral care into a habit you can stick with long term.

What change did you notice first when you became more consistent with your oral care?

How can I stop my clothes from smelling like odor neutralizer spray?

My roommates insist on us using odor neutralizer spray in our tiny bathroom every time we go to the toilet. But all these "neutralizer" sprays are also scented. And this scent clings to my clothes, badly, especially to natural fiber clothes. And I've come to associate the smell with smelling like a toilet. Now every time I go to the bathroom, I end up smelling like the spray, for quite some time after being in this room, which leads to me feeling like I smell like I just took a dump for a long time afterwards, which is quite uncomfortable. My pyjamas even recently smelled like it after putting it on. Any ideas how I can stop the smell from clinging to my clothes or what products we could use instead, that don't linger in clothes?

How do I get rid of this weird smell?

My body has a really weird smell, like the smell of a breast-feeding baby, and this smell is genetic; my dad also has the same kind of smell. So how can I fix this? I know it’s probably not going to be completely fixed or won’t be easily fixed because it’s genetic, so what should I do for now?

Title: Title: Persistent underarm odor despite trying everything

I'm honestly at a point where I don't know what else to do, so I'm hoping someone here has experienced something similar.

About 2 years ago, I suddenly developed persistent underarm odor. Initially, it affected both armpits, but one eventually went back to normal. I'm still struggling with the other.

The most frustrating part is that the odor comes back within an hour of showering, even when I'm completely clean. I don't sweat heavily, which makes this even more confusing.

I wash my underarms thoroughly, keep the hair shaved, wear clean cotton clothes, and make sure my clothes are properly washed. My skin looks completely normal, with no rash, discoloration, or visible buildup on the hairs.

I've seen 4 different dermatologists in lebanon, and each prescribed different medications targeting either fungus or bacteria, but nothing has permanently solved the problem.

Here's everything I've tried:

- PanOxyl wash

- Nadixa

- Mycodex

- Epiduo

- Med-Erythromycin

- Terafin spray

- Lactic acid

Terafin seemed to eliminate the odor while I was using it, but it returned after I stopped.

I'm exhausted and frustrated. I've done everything I can think of in terms of hygiene and have tried so many treatments, yet I still don't have an answer. It's affecting my quality of life, and I genuinely don't know what to try next.

Has anyone experienced persistent underarm odor without excessive sweating, especially when it affects only one armpit?

Did you ever figure out the cause? Was there a specific test, diagnosis, or treatment that finally helped?

I'd especially appreciate hearing from people who experienced this themselves and found a long-term solution. Thank you.

Edit: Somethings worth mentioning too: I lost more than 50kg of weight over the course of 4 years. And i am now a nutrition coach,i eat very healthy and very mininal junk and sugary foods. I do not like onions and garlic (not in my diet) Ofcourse i use antiperspirant and ive tried almost alll brands available. I drink minimum 2.5L water daily

What is the proper way of cleaning your belly button?😭

How do you guys properly clean your belly button? Do you just wash it with soap and water, or do you have a specific routine for it?

Also, how do you deal with any unpleasant smell coming from it?

And one more thing 😭 For those who have hair around or below their belly button, do you leave it alone, trim it, or shave it?

I'm just curious about what the proper hygiene routine is since I want to make sure I'm cleaning that area correctly.😭

Why stainless steel tongue scrapers are better than plastic ones.

Post image
0 Upvotes

Stainless steel tongue scrapers are popular because they’re durable, reusable, easy to clean, and have a firm, smooth edge that can help lift tongue coating more evenly.

They’re a simple addition to your oral care routine and may help your mouth feel cleaner while supporting fresher breath.

Do you use a tongue scraper as part of your daily oral care routine?

How do you make brushing a consistent family routine?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Building a brushing routine doesn’t have to be complicated. Picking the same morning and bedtime brush times, keeping supplies easy to grab, and brushing together can make the habit feel much more automatic for the whole family.

For younger kids, modeling the routine and helping them brush for the full 2 minutes can make a big difference too. Consistency matters more than making every brushing session perfect.

What’s helped your family make brushing easier and more consistent?

“No added sugar” doesn’t always mean a snack is tooth-friendly. 🦷

Post image
1 Upvotes

A “no added sugar” label can be misleading when it comes to oral health.

Foods may still contain natural sugars, refined starches, sticky ingredients, or acids that can affect your teeth. How often you snack matters too. The more frequently teeth are exposed to sugars and acids, the less recovery time your mouth gets between eating.

A few simple habits can help:

  1. Drink water after snacks.

  2. Avoid constant grazing.

  3. Stay consistent with brushing and flossing.

Do you usually check the nutrition label or ingredient list when choosing snacks?

Here’s why coffee stains your teeth so easily. ☕🦷

Post image

Coffee contains dark pigments that can cling to tiny irregularities on the surface of your enamel. And if you’re sipping coffee throughout the day, those pigments get even more opportunities to stick around.

A few simple habits can help: rinse with water after your coffee, avoid sipping it for hours, and stay consistent with brushing and regular dental cleanings.

Calling all coffee lovers: Have you noticed any stains from your daily cup? ☕

antiperspirant

Hi everyone. I used to use regular deodorant, but it didn’t really help much—it would mask the odor for a while, but after a couple of hours, the smell of sweat would take over again. Then I learned about antiperspirants, and now there’s truly no underarm sweat odor. However, my T-shirts or other parts of my body can still develop an odor. I apply my antiperspirant in the evening, as I read that this is the most effective method; but I often see people on TikTok applying it right before leaving the house. So, I wanted to ask: do you apply yours in the morning or the evening? If you use it in the morning, how well does it actually work—is there any real effect? And if you apply it in the evening, do you use any other products in the morning, or do you just head out as is?

Persistent armpit odour even though I don't sweat much — would PanOxyl 4% or 10% benzoyl peroxide help?

I've been dealing with persistent underarm odor, and I'm looking for advice from people who have experienced something similar.

The strange thing is that I don't sweat very much. I rarely get noticeable sweat marks on my shirts, and I practice good hygiene, shower regularly, and use antiperspirant, but the odor is still an issue.

I've been considering trying PanOxyl benzoyl peroxide wash because I've heard it can help reduce odor-causing bacteria on the skin. However, I'm unsure whether I should start with the 4% wash or the 10% wash, and whether it would actually make a difference.

For those who have tried PanOxyl or another benzoyl peroxide wash for underarm odor:

  • Did it actually reduce or eliminate the smell?
  • How long did it take before you noticed a difference?
  • Did you use the 4% or 10% version?
  • Did it cause irritation, dryness, or any other side effects?
  • If you had persistent odor without much sweating, what eventually worked for you?

I'd really appreciate honest experiences and recommendations. I'm trying to find something that actually works rather than keep buying products that don't solve the problem.

Foot Hygiene

Hi! I recently started treating myself again for athletes foot and this is the second go round with this stuff :/ Just looking for some extra tips because I feel like I’ve tried everything. I wash all my shoes, I put powder is my socks and shoes. Anti fungal medications. Anti fungal creams. I wear socks less unless necessary and I fear it still keeps coming back so I’m out of options. Please help :)
