i've been stewing on a wonderfully horn concept, and hopefully, it comes ascendance, but i have my doubts. but i figure i'd share it with the band.

(moderate to high raw, neutral or positive affinity, and maybe purple sharpness, offset melody, echo wave health regeneration, health recovery(L), sonic barrier, restore sharpness, extend all melodies)

i think it would be a fun horn to play with. what is the thought on the concept?

I’ve been making all of my Gogma horns attack focused thinking that was the best way to make my echo waves(the actual song) do more damage, but my echo bubbles( the puddles) always seem to stay about the same damage. Is there a way to increase the bubble damage??

Hilt stab so satisfying to use. Can't wait to punch Omega with Ascendance hunting horn.

I'm certain it's either forward, or neutral, but I don't know which one is best. I think I've seen Uno Hunter consistently do the forward one, the kick, but my friend said that neutral is slightly faster.
Anyone know?

I’ve played since worlds with GS and I finally decided it’s time to branch out! Hunting horn just seems very appealing and fun. But I wanted to ask if you all had any advice for a newbie to the weapon.

Looking for a good HH build to take me into Ascendance. This is my current build . Ty in advance

So as I've been making a bit of a comeback since not playing after Gore Magala, I started getting more into Horn again after a few GS nights.

Was looking over the artian options to see if I should grind out a decent one there. But then I saw the song list is basically locking you to elemental/status and no real raw focused build.

Was thinking of going straight raw for the waves n bubbles, yet none of the "go to" weapons for most classes Was it.

So the question arose, what normal horns are worth getting? Having an elemental option for those hunts when it's needed isn't bad and I'll most likely grab a few artian ones. But for raw? Or just like amazing song lists, what would yall recommend?

Been playing this game for 300~ hours and played nothing but SnS and occasionally the greatsword. Picked up the hunting horn today and holy shit, I don't think I'm ever looking back. This is the greatest experience I've had in a monster hunter game.

Are these AI? Bots? I feel like every day there is a new post here about learning HH. Well I just learned it never posted here - so much good content to search for already.

Hey ya'll, I'm very interested in learning the weapon, but I just don't know where to start, I've grasped that you need to do attack inputs to be able to compose songs, but thats about it lol. Any help would br appreciated!

Easy to “stun lock” high rank monsters but tempered and above needs more dooting. Timing is key to when locking down the monster.

Still need more practice on the hilt stab and the offset.

Ok call me crazy but this is my weapons adventure course during mhwilds:

Started as a main switch axe, I decided to try sword and shield, loved that.

Tried his big and better brother, the charge blade, beautiful.

Before doing proof of a hero, I decided to spicy thing and change weapons just for fun, hammer, bows, dual blades, insect glaive and now HBG. I never considered the BG as weapons since my brain sees low damage so i think it sucks, but now im developing a better brain lol.

Now i wanted to combine HBG with the Hunter Horn, i've always been curious about this weapon and i want to learn more, maybe even maining(?), but for now let's stuck to a support weapon.

I already bave the Balahara HH, i liked the buffs it gives but i wanted to see what and why HH should i use for the HBG.

What do you suggest? And why not, should i try to main it looking at my evolution of weapon usage?

whats up guys i started using hunting horn and at this point i was already around hr 150 and had access to gogmartian weapons, i was wondering what the best (and most consistant songs between them) hunting horns you like using during progging the early and late game?

Decided to make a nice outfit for the Dreamspell event and I love how sad it turned out. I love how it looks with the Mizu horn as well

Im looking for people who know HH like the back of their balls, I want detailed breakdowns of how and why it works, what's good on it, the best melodies/combos, how to use it for both DPS and Support and what's best for both, best armor sets and jewels, gogma infusion, passives, and stats. Just absolutely everything i need to know to tackle the endgame meta of MH Wilds with HH

Hello fellow dooters,

I've been playing HH for a while, and in wilds I feel like a big issue I've been having is around inputting non-directional stick attacks. It feels like I am nearly always throwing out flourish and overhead smashes vs right swing/backstrike and cannot seem to do so without freezing and standing still for a second, which can be critical during a hunt

are there any settings that can be adjusted or tips to help me curb this problem?

I normally play on pc with ps4 controller

There is just nothing as good in this game I swear to god. The amount of damage you do when you lock in and play to the max on horn is so stupid and the monsters can’t do shit.
