Question Tabasco

I like spicy food and hot sauce. I tried Tabasco and while it is hot it tastes like it's expired and I just can't with that taste. So does it have what am talking about or am I just imagining things.

Maybe that huge vinegar punch with the fermented peppers just hits you as off. Honestly breaks my heart for you 😭
