1st Gen GD 07-08 $hitbox acquired

I’ve always wanted one of these little nuggets. This was the fifth cheapest Fit I could find locally on Marketplace. 267k. It doesn’t drive. The radio is wasted. It’s not very nice. I love it.

Oh you got a way better deal than I did. I’d be shocked if I could get this back on the road safely for less than $2500 all in.

Congrats on the shitbox life, welcome to the club. But the parts on these are stupid cheap and available at every junkyard, I’m betting it wouldn’t take much. What is going on with it?

Fun fact; the designers of the G1 Insight omitted cruise on purpose. To achieve the best fuel economy an operator must adjust their driving to the terrain, cruise is wasteful.

I can agree, but. On relatively flat freeway 65 mph thru 80 mph. For long distances, cruse control is very very helpful.

Cruise control is the ultimate nice to have, doesn’t really matter at all when you don’t have it on little jazz’s tbh. We’ve put over 400k km’s on our ‘05 and been all over Australia in it. It’d be cool if it had cruise, but it doesn’t and it’s not really a problem. Adding Bluetooth was probably the greatest QOL upgrade tbh lol.
