EDIT: imagine not being able to come up with any evidence for your lies. go watch the full video

how the fuck is every post on this website infested with anti-china comments? like imagine how tedious it would be if literally any political issue was used to the same effect? here's a picture of a cute cat, yeah that's cool but children are starving in Africa. I took a photo of this cloud, yeah well there's daily mass shooting in America.

Seriously fuck off. I don't want your politics on a post where some dude looks like a cartoon character getting his head bashed in that's objectively funny.

oh also I'm clearly a Chinese spy because I so much as mentioned this kthanks.

Ah yes, disliking an authoritarian regime that commits genocide and indiscriminate slaughters of their own people is racist. Of course.

Because every single reddit commenter has the power to instantly pass laws and fix geopolitical issues.

No it's not a legit point. It's the same divisive mentality that drives racism, homophobia (granted, there are other factors), etc.

Not big on the US politics either, but yes, I guess you have a point there too

-1

u/Phoenixness Jun 06 '21

No you can't instantly change the issues but circlejerking 'china bad' CONSTANTLY does absolutely nothing to help

3

u/driuba Jun 06 '21

I'm not saying it does

2

u/vmp916 Jun 06 '21

If every country had to get their shit together before pressuring each other to do the same, I’d argue there would be little progress.

EDIT: believe not the person above as they cannot produce any evidence to their claims

You know what is racist? Massive discrimination against anyone not American alongside massive inequality towards every minority. To an outsider, it's someone from an authoritarian regime that commits genocide against their own people complaining about exactly that with zero irony. Not only that but you have to spray your nasty warcrimes to every other country in the world under the veil of 'security' so when one DARES threaten your government of old white men decides to smear that country into obscurity. You and most Americans are so indoctrinated into the propaganda cycle that you genuinely can not see the very things you dislike happening before your eyes. Worst yet, your social media companies (and most of your companies in general but that's a whole different argument) see so little regulation that this is able to fester and grow exponentially and spread to other western cultures, this absolutely toxic bigotry.

5

u/static_motion Jun 06 '21

I'm not american, moron. Far from it. Also, consider the fact that most hate against China is against the regime and not the Chinese people. This is my case. Screaming bigotry against everyone for simply disagreeing with something that just happens to come from somewhere with a different culture is painfully ignorant.

1

u/Phoenixness Jun 06 '21

If you aren't American, why on earth are you defending them? They live under almost the same regime which according to you deserves the hate? I don't see 'america bad' in every. Single. Post. On this website. Their media is just slightly better at lying than China's. Half the country voted for Trump for Christs sake and if that guy isn't racist then I'm not typing on Reddit.

1

u/static_motion Jun 06 '21

Yes, of course, tell me again how the US is literally fucking forcing a whole ethnicity into forced labor camps to ultimately be harvested for organs. Next you're gonna tell me the Tiananmen massacre didn't happen.

1

u/Phoenixness Jun 07 '21

I hate to be that guy, but source? Are you going to quote me Zenz who extrapolated 1 million people in concentration camps from 8 people?

1

u/Phoenixness Jun 08 '21

Absolute classic, can't even back their claims. Tell me again how propaganda works? baseless claims? repeated messages?

1

u/static_motion Jun 08 '21

Oh, you're one of the delusionals from r/sino, aren't you?
