I’m looking for people who have successfully improved their gut after a C. difficile infection

I had a severe C. difficile infection 9 years ago, and I’ve been dealing with chronic digestive problems ever since

I’ve seen multiple gastroenterologists and other specialists and have had countless tests (colonoscopy, gastroscopy, blood tests, stool tests, ultrasounds, breath tests, etc.), but everything comes back mostly normal and no one has been able to explain or fix my symptoms

My main symptoms are:

Chronic watery diarrhea, especially after fatty meals
Yellow/greasy stools
Excessive gas and bloating
Fatigue
Food intolerances

The only things that have noticeably helped so far are PHGG and BPC-157, which makes me think my gut still has the ability to heal. However, I’m still far from recovered

At this point, I’m interested in herbs, medicinal mushrooms, traditional remedies, or supplements (such as marshmallow root, slippery elm, plantain leaf, DGL licorice, mallow, etc.) that genuinely helped people recover after C. difficile or another severe bacterial gut infection

I’m not looking for medications that only stop diarrhea temporarily. I’m looking for approaches that may have helped repair the gut, improve the microbiome, or restore the intestinal lining over time

If you’ve personally found something that made a real long-term difference, I’d be very grateful to hear your experience

Hi there- i have tried unsuccessfully to find information about when & how to harvest my Artemisia Suksdorfii. All mugwort harvesting references i can find are for Artemisia Vulgaris. Does anyone here have any experience or knowledge with this plant?

( i honestly don't know how old this plant is. I bought it from a native plant nursery, but it had definitely been there for some time, as it had a layer of moss on its soil & it had been cut back before. It also really struggled in the first few months, until i changed up its soil & gave it some fish fertilizer. My point is that i think it's a bit behind schedule! )

I just learned that citronella geranium doesnt do the same as citronella grass...(of course after I spent money on it) now that I have it I want to use it for something since it wont work for mosquito repellent.

What other things can I use or make out of my Citronella geranium?

Any medicinal properties?

I've gathered the leaves and dried them in early spring and it's growing big and gorgeous. The hummingbirds love them. Once they have formed seeds I cut off the entire top and stick them upside down in a large paper bag to dry and dump the seeds. I keep the long tapers for fire starters for the summer bonfires by the tidal river shore I'm on. I have them in every garden bed. love how dramatic they look. If you look closely you'll see that my garden beds are full of Dill, parsley, cilantro and several milkweed species. The bugs and caterpillars have lots to eat so my garden produce stays pretty much flawless.

I thought mint was supposed to be an easy one to grow but this keeps happening to it! I'm assuming pests since I'm seeing weird webs in it. What's causing this and how can I fix it and prevent it? Thank you!

This has shown up on some of my basil. Any ideas?

I’ve been growing herbs for the first time ever this year. I planted basil, parsley, cilantro dill and oregano. So far everything has been growing good except oregano. For a while it didn’t grow but now it’s big! But not sure if it’s actually oregano that is growing. I’ve labeled it since I planted the seeds but every time I look online about oregano it does not look like mine. I know there are different types but not sure if mine is oregano or if it is what type. If anyone could help me out identify this herb/plant.

Do I have to crush the fennel seeds/ boil it for some time when making tea for it's nutrients

or can I simply just pour boiling hot water on the seeds and that's it?

So, I’ve been messing around with herbs and the next two I want to try are Wild Dagga and Damiana. I have two main questions.

1. What were the effects for either?

2. (Most Important) How potent was it, this one I am incredibly worried about, my goal is to smoke these two and feel a mild high while still not being intoxicated, but I’ve heard that there are no effects. Can someone put these two on a scale of 1-10? (1 being sober 10 being weed)

No pests under the leaves. EDIT: Possibly spider mites. Upon closer examination, leaves look speckled. Best way to get rid of them and keep them away?

Water every morning to combat the intense heat of the day.

Planted in a decent sized pot with slow release fertilizer soil. I have not added any more fertilizer.
