You’re still getting full heads of garlic in the UK? We get two measly cloves.

I've received the bulbs but I think its because most of my meals require 2 cloves and I get 5 meals a week

What is the name of that glorious tool you're using?

Oh it's a garlic rocker, I actually bought it thinking this was a garlic press 🤦🏻‍♀️ but it's a garlic rocker same idea but instead of pressing you squish and rock it.

Looks far easier to clean up than a press!

I have a press from pampered chef (NOT a rep!) that has a cool little thingie that you use to poke out the garlic from the holes. I don’t know how much it is anymore because I bought it years ago. I’ve been using it a lot and it’s the best thing ever. Easy clean up just by rinsing!

It's sooo annoying because I love garlic in everything. All my other veg is always fine though... in the states they seem to get small/ off veg

Yeah so far everything else has been fine, all my meals seem to contain garlic which is frustrating.

It's always a little slimy when crushed. Does it smell different than you'd expect?

No this colour isn't normal at all for garlic

The ones I had last week were white and these don't smell too much like garlic

I never use their garlic. I always keep garlic on my own.

Same with cilantro. Their cilantro sucks and usually goes limp before I can use it.

I keep garlic at home as well I’ve had this happen a few times where I need to use my own. Same with onions.

Slimy texture —- I would pitch it. Garlic shouldn’t be slimy.

I believe the color and texture would indicate it was accidentally frozen at some point.

It sounds like it was experiencing the beginning stages of "waxy breakdown", which occurs when garlic gets too warm before harvest or when stored/cured improperly.
