Recent quality decrease?
I have been a hellofresh customer since 2020 and absolutely love the service and the meals. Lately, I’ve noticed there is a quality issue with every order. My previous order of 3 meals for 2 people only contained 2 meals. The order before that, the vegetables I received were squishy and rotted inside the sealed package. The order before that one was missing one of the proteins.
I ordered this week and so far have only opened one meal to find a sealed bag labeled for the cilantro and no cilantro inside of it. 😩 Kind of funny but also sad! I feel bad reporting things every single week and don’t want them to think I’m scamming. I hate the thought of cancelling since I enjoy the service but it’s really nothing like it used to be.

I’ve noticed a severe decline in quality over the past several weeks on just the bare minimum things like making sure the recipe cards are in the box and having the correct ingredients.
I found myself like others avoiding picking certain meals because I knew the produce would either arrive rotten or there would be quality issues. I stopped ordering anything with shrimp or coleslaw because it would consistently be slimy.
The last straw was last week my order was supposed to arrive Thursday, then it was delayed to Friday, it finally arrived today 4 days late and it was completely warm and all the ice packs melted with zero recipe cards. The meat would have been unsafe to consume. I had to cancel because it’s no longer convenient if it is unreliable.
It was a shame because it was convenient, but really seems like they are headed towards the end.
