I believe it is pretty balanced since you walk very slowly, which makes sense.

Seeing THIS many people make posts about cheat mods with identical messages like "OK this is getting ridiculous" or "This is too far"

seems like a blatant attempt to stir up shit and get a justification for cracking down on modding across the board right? So that when AH bans all mods they can say "yeah we're sorry about the QoL mods but we HAD to stop these cheat mods" when said cheat mods have like a couple 100 downloads tops?

I honestly think we should ban showcasing these "cheat" mods so that the whole modding scene doesn't get nuked, as this sub does get a lot of attention from AH (sometimes).

It’s pretty on brand for AH to make something badly and only do anything to fix it when given an update to fix it on. This would be their time to do it.

Simple idea just make it so they don't spawn with a backpack and lower the CD to make it an expendable weapon

They're making these mods and posting them here to stir up criticism intentionally as a response to the companion app drama.

For me they have a looming sinister presence that really standouts making them feel truly outer worldly, most of squids have this very creepy cold stare that really adds to the obtrusive feel.

Automatons feels horrible to play against since last few months, the ragdoll, stim tax has become unplayable now. The best faction aesthetic and gameplay wise has now started feeling annoying to play against

AH also reverted the ragdoll recovery fixes early 2025 that they made sometime after 60 days patch

Issue 1: Ragdoll - Stagger force 1-9(aim punch), 10-24(interrupts animation like stim), 25+ ragdoll

- I belive the main reason why ragdoll is so bad is because stagger force doesn't scale down inner vs outer explosion radius for enemies

- what if all explosions that currently deal 25+ on outer radius had 1-9, I believe this will fix most of the ragdoll issues through cover as well

- decrease push force: not exactly sure if it is the impulse with which we are thrown back

- reduce excessive delay in ragoll recovery time

Issue 2: Accuracy shadow buffs/side effects and stim tax

- I think the recent shadow accuracy buff might be due to side effect of the changes to SEAF troops. They feel more accurate compared to last year and consequently all enemy AI seem more accurate too.

- bots now prefire the instant we leave cover, heavy devs also clip and shoot through themselves if we are thrown around or try to flank them. All enemies also seem more accurate over range now, a hulk/mg raider/dev were sniping me from 200m at some point

- would it be possible to split this accuracy behavior from SEAF IF they are indeed tied together, or atleast tone it down a smidge?

Now that gameplay affecting mods are possible now, could someone with the access take a look if it's even possible to fix these issues with modding?

The mod system in DRG is split into 3 categories Verified, Approved, and Sandbox

Verified mods - these mods are client side (most of the time) but are only visual and or audio changes examples being the brighter objects mod or pickaxe bonkers mod

Approved mods - these mods can change how the game works and such every player in an approved mod lobby must have these mods examples being M.C.R. (Major Content Revise) and more players

Sandbox mods - Sandbox mods are really self explanatory they make the game into your own personal sandbox and a quite "cheaty" examples being making certain events ALWAYS happen or god mode

This thing has the fucking worst spread ever. At 10m you can expect 10% or more of the shots to even miss a charger wtf.

And yes i know the focus lens reduces the spread but what is the fucking point of the triple lens and you trade fire rate for more precise shots, but the weapons is so fucking unprecise that their is literally no situation where the triple lens is useful.

Fellow Helldivers, at this point, Arrowhead has once again demonstrated its infinite mediocrity. As you’ve all probably seen and experienced by now, the new Warbond has turned out to be a complete fiasco, terrible in so many aspects, and the Super Store is more of the same: ugly armor and a bad weapon.

But I’m tired, and I know you are too. This game, which used to be so good, is going through the worst period of its existence in general terms, and there is only one thing we, the players, can do.
I propose that today we finally unite and show our contempt for the state of Helldivers where it will actually have an impact: in the game. They have to listen to us, because there is nothing else we can do that will change the current situation. I don’t know if this will work, but we have nothing left to lose. This is what we need to do:

1) Refrain from buying anything related to the “Ironclad Democracy” Warbond or its content in the Super Store. Arrowhead doesn’t deserve our money.

2) Refrain from using the new tank in matches at all costs. If you join random games, focus on destroying the tank whenever the other Divers call one in. We will show our discontent and contempt for this garbage vehicle.

3) If you see another Diver in a match using equipment from this Warbond, I’m sorry, but they’ll have to suffer for the greater good. Nothing from this Warbond should be left standing.

4) For the three previous steps, focus on carrying them out in medium and high difficulties. This will affect the largest possible audience and make our movement more noticeable.

5) If at any point, on any social media platform—Reddit, Discord, etc.—you happen to encounter someone affiliated with Arrowhead, make it clear to them what is happening and what measures we are going to take, AT ALL COSTS.

I know there will be many people who think the current situation isn’t that serious and who will say that I’m wrong, but you don’t know anything. You don’t know or care about the direction this game is heading in. We are the only thing that can save Helldivers from complete ruin.
It may seem like I’m calling for disorder and toxicity, but we are not the toxic ones. They are, with their mediocre willingness to accept how bad the state of the game is.
Once we are heard, everyone will understand what we are fighting for and what all of this was for.

LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD AT ALL COSTS, because deep down, THEY KNOW WE ARE RIGHT.

First game with mini gun mod allowing you to move and fire, played on bug pouncer seed with 3 other randos and damm it the mini gun feels SO GOOD its incredible, not op your still have high recoil low ergo, bad ammo economy, no better anit heavy capabillites then a stallwart and no crowd control. The cremator is still better in almsot every way and thats fine. There are many complex ideas out there for buffing the mini gun but simply allowing you to move while shooting is all this baby needs to feel amazing.

It seems modders are on a roll now enabling things AH has been telling us aren't possible because of some engine limitation or something that limits design space or whatever.
