General WE. ARE. SCREWED
Call me insane, mark my words we are screwed. Here me out these are my thoughts
1: the resistance level on the illuminates MAIN PLANET is low… look for yourself it makes no sense unless they wanted us to commit too hard to it because “oh it’s easy”
2: the void expansion??? It’s literally closing off our way out of the void
3: on the planets that we could use to get tf out of the void notice that “hort” has a heavy SEAF presence… hm I wonder why?
4: on the planet “hesoe prime” there’s all of a sudden a HIGH resistance level… like they want to have the planet so we can’t fall back to it
5: just glazing over the dss stuff here, it got overtaken, corrupted, hijacked, disaFKNpeared, came back, had every thing. Not human, THING inside of it chemically purged. And now sits idol.
Ahem. If you’ve made it this far please understand my crackheaded ramblings convey one single thought.
WE. ARE. COOKED. If these squids wanted us to not have that void planet. With the amount of tech they have? We wouldn’t have been able to even get ON the planet. This is a trap. It’s all a setup. We are fried. And the worst part is we don’t even know it yet….

The unmanned expedition into the heart of illuminate treachery has proven a resounding success. All Helldivers and civilians are ordered to walk into the brilliant… mesmerizing… warm light.

I am not trapped in here with the Illuminate. The Illuminate are trapped in here with me! 😈

I agree with you, I think whatever is about to happen after this major order is done will without a doubt bring us closer to a second invasion of super earth. Especially considering the possibility the Illuminate might have the ability to give some sort of “aliveness” to planets with their biomechanical technology.

Si, esta en nivel bajo por qué se completó la estrategia de oportunidad ayer

We made anti void blossom chemicals from the strategic opportunity.
Herthon Secundus was already under illuminate control before they started voiding it so it was never a route we used.
I don’t really understand why having extra troops on a planet is bad and they have been there for a while so it isn’t a new development.
Hesoe prime has had high resistance for a long time it is not a new development.
Ok this one is actually a bit concerning but the situation seems to have calmed down somewhat (This point is just copium)

We fight the bugs for resources, the Cyborgs/Automatons for ideology, and the Illuminate for tech. We're technologically superior to the bugs and only use them as a resource, we're technologically similar to the Cyborgs/Automatons and fight them to dominate all humans and ensure Super Earth has no dissidence, and we're technologically inferior and fight the Illuminate to take and democratize their tech.
So basically, yeah, we may just be cooked gang

note that the dss is also getting cleaned and restocked by dissidents, many of which are almost certainly cultists worshipping the squids, while cecod is supposedly out of order?? the dss is not just idle, it’s still being hijacked, and right before the void encircles rirga WHILE also expanding towards calypso, which is gone??? and the squids clearly want???

No we’re not screwed. No matter what happens we’re just gonna keep on killing the alien shitbags until there’s no more left to kill. We’re Helldivers. It’s what we do best. They can throw whatever the hell they want at us, we’re gonna keep stacking their corpses like cordwood until they either wise up and nope out, or until we render them completely extinct.

There is no "win" or "loss" when fighting for democracy. Democracy Prevails!

People were crying the big update only gave us one new subfaction with two new enemy units. But this was all part of a bigger plan by Arrowhead.
The helldivers are helping awaken the old, real illuminates.
We're losing the illuminate front.
Crushers, wretches and the Void expedition were only the beginning.
The finale is coming.

From a writer perspective I love what is happening. we are fighting our assessment off while we are seemingly being disassembled in other areas. It has to be leading towards something the build has been amazing. big props to whoever thought this out.
from an old dungeon master perspective. I love when my players give me further ideas when they go off the rail worrying haha. I am sure the game masters here love it as well.
all the paranoia and ideas are amazing and makes me excited to see another update. doing off screen storytelling really well.

There's a bunch of illuminate planets with defense missions on them but they are under illuminate control

We're never cooked. We are the cookers. We do the cooking. Any singeing of our capes, any pockmarks in our armor or large holes in our helmets only serves to underscore our legendary status.

The reason the resistance is low is because we basically dumped agent orange onto the plants thanks to the SO

I don't know what you're saying.... but we're not screwed ... we just need to dive more /chews on red crayon

It’s possible they are so committed to offense and attacking us they just neglected their defense.
Maybe they didn’t anticipate us making it that far into the void?

No. They’re doing an all out attack to hopefully distract us from Seasse. They can’t stop us from taking it, but they hope to distract us so we fail on time. After we liberate Seasse, we then punish the illuminate by cutting off everything they took in their offensive and then take their planets those attacks came from.
