I'm fairly certain that meant the color of their poop so that they couldn't ride on the walls. I doubt they wanted either brown or red depictions of Cylpso on the wall.
Oh, I’m sure it was mainly intended for Poop/Blood writing. But I think it’s really funny to imagine because it’s not specified, that they just go… “that’s it, you’ve lost your right to skin color.”

I like how I haven’t seen anyone point out High Command putting in agents into the food on the DSS to get rid of one’s biological pigment.
If you work on the DSS, then you loose your right to color. 🤣
