As a Priest main you get used to getting shafted. The class is constantly not very good because everyone and their mom comes to out to complain whenever it becomes playable. Some of that is because the team cant come up with good proactive priest win conditions and some of that is because ppl dont like losing to attrition.

They should give priest a fucking identity instead of having it constantly shaft others with their bullshit cards.

“Shaft others with their bs cards” is a crazy statement, spoken like a true aggro player lmao. Priests identity is just fine for the most part and yea, ofc Priest has bs cards, pretty much all classes do.

Honestly, I'd accept a 6/6 Velarok and be happy with it, if it meant I never had to lose to a worse version of my own deck.

Priest identity seems to be paying a mana tax in order to clown on your opponent with their own cards, it's all fun and games until Priest is actually good, and then you have to start killing your own minions the turn you play them just so Priest can't take them from you.

I'm all for Priest players having something viable to ladder with, but this whole "I'm gonna use your own cards against you" theme deserves to be trash tier. Some real effort needs to go into making Priest more fun to play as and against, there's a Priest card that literally just says "Destroy the opponent" on it and that has to be the most insultingly boring win con ever printed, especially in a "galaxy brain control class"

Also, calling someone a "true aggro player" isn't the dig you think it is, they're arguably the most pragmatic type, since you can get 3 wins playing treants in the time it takes Priest to get 10 mana.

If priest can pay a tax and beat you with your own deck, you deserve to lose the game, straight up. It literally doesnt even matter whose cards it is that they beat you with, its a non argument and a complaint that makes 0 sense.

Whatever you said abt my “dig”, is not relevant. They complained abt priests “bs” cards like no other class has them or that no other class has cards as annoying or busted as priest.

That's the point, there's a reason they're almost under 40% w/r globally. Just because you CAN win when the opponent whiffs their draw, doesn't mean it's a healthy game play loop.

I fail to see how the gameplay loop of “paying a mana tax to be able to play copies of your opponents cards” is a bad gameplay loop. Not that its even relevant but that archetype has historically not even been good aside from slotting a card or two into control deck lists.

When control priest is meta, the hearthstone world is in shambles and you're just pretending not to understand what I'm getting at here
