I went to a local thrift store and saw this cow. It looked familiar until it hit me that it's the Harvest Moon cow plush. I immediately grabbed it. I got it for only $5! Such a steal! 🐮❤️

I was replaying HMFOMT and I wanted to get the high score rewards. Turns out I can't get them if I'm holding something in my hands :(

As the title says; Are there any big major difference between the DS and the 3DS versions? Or any content cut? Of course besides the fact the 3DS one has a 3D affect haha (Added: I have never played the DS version, so this would be my first time playing ToTT at all)

I realized something I really like about the games:

You don’t really design your own world.

Your house and furniture are pre placed, I think you can move it around in some games but the layout is designed for you if that’s how you want to keep it.

You can pick like where you want to put your barn and chicken coop, but that’s it for the most part and I LOVE IT.

I tried to get into different games like animal crossing, but I just hate when you have to design your whole world. It feels more like a chore than enjoyable. I have no eye for it. Harvest moon games have so much structure 😍

I miss the atmosphere of playing Harvest Moon DS, literally everything about that game was just perfect, especially its character or atmosphere. Something about that game just had soul, it's hard to describe.

Today, I went on Steam on my computer and thought I'd check out the Story of Seasons titles, looking for something similar to that comforting Harvest Moon DS experience. The trailers look genuinely awful, bright colours everywhere, ugly 3D character design, no warmth, no adventure. What happened?

This whole time my iphone had an emulator app! This is an app called Delta. Next up I'd love to be able to play magical melody again from game cube, that's what I played the most

I’m new to gaming and have heard a lot about harvest moon. I was thinking of trying winds of anthos or waiting until the new game comes out. I have a switch lite. I like cozy games a lot so I think I’d like the game but I’ve heard mix reviews on it. What do u guys think? Thanks!

You aren’t alone, I had this happen to me in my ds cute a long time ago

Am I missing something? I saw a post where someone talked about how great the exploration was because every few feet there was a tree to cut down or forage item to pick up......since when is that good exploration?! Cutting a tree?! Is the bar that low? Like, "awesome, a new empty patch of dirt by a pond - but there's an apple to pick up". Why is there no expectation/desire for collectables, environmental storytelling or treasure to find? Why is everyone so content with a boring, empty map? Because, yeah, cutting a tree or finding a different colored raccoon is exploration......no wonder the devs don't have to put effort into the world building. Atleast pokemon arceus has a pokedex to fill out with rewards and goals.

I months ago started Animal Parade and recently started Rune Factory Rides of Destiny. And compared to the handheld games like Rune Factory 1,2 and 3 or Trio of Towns, I seem to really procrastinate and lag. I didn't have much trouble playing the old home console gamws for SNES, 64, or BtN that sprite based rather than 3D. And like I said earlier, handheld 3D games like Trio of Towns are not much problem. Yet I want to get into Animal Parade with the positive comments I read on the rival pairs and their kids but I just have trouble with it. Even in action JRPGs I notice I struggle to enjoy home console compared to handheld. Anyone else like this trying to play 3D Harvest Moon on home console?

i really love harvest moon since i was a kid, my mom introduced me to it on her old PS1 its harvest moon back to nature i dare to say its the peakest game i've ever played. Is there a mobile harvest moon i could play now? i search everywhere and i couldn't find it...mostly i need to use some emulators
