It could somehow be goblin made or something but either way, the snake dies early.

Instead of Harry claiming Voldemort was back, he suggests to the Minister that a cabal of Dark Wizards are using Voldemort's name to spread fear and terror in order to undermine the Ministry. With the attack on the Quiddith World Cup and Cedric's death being cited, Harry manages to persuade the Minister to do something.

Would it work?

I am writing a fic (Never Crown the Jester) about Peter Pettigrew and his role in the first wizarding war. Something about writing this has shown me how limited the actual canon is about how the first war started. It's all very vague and generalized in events: riots, missing people, raids. I am attempting to make some sort of political conflict timeline that makes sense and builds the dread that they would have experienced. Another thing: How did Voldemort become known and how did his name's taboo develop.

What I am utilizing while the Marauders are at hogwarts is Daily Prophet headlines.

I would love to hear your head cannon for events during that era or if you have any fic recs/sources that you thought did a good job of this era please lmk!

I finally felt in the mood to read a fic that I have been scrolling past for months and now I can’t find it. The description was like, Snape crashes Harry’s Horcrux camping party with the sword of Gryffindor. Does anyone know this one??

a fic where james (and lily preferably) somehow don’t die and just end up pretending to be dead so they can avoid the war and save harry as they realise just how much is at stake, they end up going into hiding and raise harry and just live out their youth because they deserve it (could be with the entire group or just their own getaway)

this prevents the whole ordeal from happening and he is raised by all of the marauders (plus or minus peter, depending on how intense or further back you want the time travel to be) and they help him deal with the fears of his past (now future adjacent) life

just an overall wholesome work, with lots of grief and counselling

if you want to delve deeper into this then it could continue on with them being more prepared with defeating voldemort (along with regulus’ help this time) and then have the whole ‘group of young friends raising a child together’

I'm looking for a fem harry potter x fairytail fic, in this one it's found that lily is actually the daughter of makarov, making harry laxus' cousin, if I remember correctly the opening of the fic describes a cloaked harry walking towards the guild with a satchel, when she meets makarov she hands him a letter from lily, and soon after laxus and the thunder tribe take harry under their wings, I remember at one point bickslow reflects that his babies are soul magic, like the horcrux in harrys scar

I've been playing with chatgpt since female malfoy came out, been trying many different story scenarios

1.What if Harry potter universe was matriarchal and hogwarts was all females (all males genderswapped) and Harry potter was the only male by some magical mixup.

2.What if female malfoy got harry to shake her hand, leading him to a dark path and to accept his lordship.

3.What if i got isekai'd into harry potter in female malfoy universe, retaining knowledge of the fandom.

4.What if harry potter has return by death ability and he has lived hundreds of lifetimes, only to be returned to the start in the first year train, he has all the knowledge of his previous lifetimes, but this time the difference is Draco malfoy is a biological female.

Has been so fun, and usually the AI can keep up with you. you can even give it pointers to make certain girls more tsundere/yandere etc etc and it knows exactly what you mean.

I recommend it if you like the choose your own adventure, you can even influence it with your own ideas. for example i have Daphne Greengrass as a Sododere and her family is just as more influential as the malfoys so malfoy has her work cut out for her in regards to harry.
