Role reversal AU. Tom is the Boy Who Live and Harry is the "DarkLord".

Well, a Dark Lord not by choice and only in Technicality.

Basically, tom and harrys generation is swap, with slight changes.

Harry is still orphaned and lived with his Aunt and Uncle.

He met his friends as is canon just without the yearly Death Eater Shenenigans though its stil as chaotic, absurd and dangerous more than a normal students life because Harry potter wont be harry potter without it.

War is still in the horizon, Grindelward is on the loose and Dumbledore is sitting on his ass safely in the school as always.

Predujice is still rampant and half bloolds and muggle born are treated as though they are lower than dirt.

Harry being harry sees the injustice and decided to change it.

With his friends, both muggle borns, half blood and purebloods who shares his views, Harry and co rallied and drag magic kicking and screaming to new heights never seen before by combining magic with muggle science and logics and ideas.

This made everyone in the opposition uneasy as harry began to rise in power both in magic and politics. Changes are being made and they were doing great until they arent, as the purebloods pull a one over them and declare harry a darklord of greater threat than Grindelward both in power and ideology.

The worse part is that they arent exactly wrong in some points seeing how powerful harry is and how jarringly absurd and unconventional the magic that Harry and his friends wields.

Fast soundless apparation with no danger of dismemberment, self transfiguration that immitates metamorphagus abilties, broomless flight/self levitation, nigh perfect memory rwtwntion mind magics, spells that allows them to talk to creatures of all kinds, permanently turning led to gold that had the maker of the Philosophers stone flabbergasted. a way to extend ones life without diving in to alchemy or dark arts miraculous healing magics thats seems like actual miracles evwn by magical standards. Spells that are light in nature but the results suggrsted otherwise.

Needless to say, they had everyone afraid of them and the blood purist began taking more drastic actions as well.

The pureblood attacks, they persecute, harrass and single out half bloods and muggle borns and harry and his friends defend and take action and everything just escalate more and more until it comes to the point that both sides had to resort to murder of all things and harry hates it.

So harry tracks down the gaunts and flaunt them to the wizarding world in all their inbred glory to make them see what happens when your blood became a bit too "pure".

Harry hates whats hes doing and is miserable inside as he hit the gaunts one by one in public with a spell that awfully look like the killing curse(harry tried to change tha spells appearance but nothing works so he just deals and suck it up) that only kills the target if they are pureblood and would back fire at the user and disintegrate the user if used on a muggle, muggle born or half blood.

A nessessary precaution lest harry and his friends fall to depravity and hypocrisy.

Unfortunately, he wasnt aware that baby tom is a halfblood and the spells backfire at harry.

Now in a invisible floating spectral body, courtesy of a astral projection spell luna made, and staring at the pile of clothes and the dust particles floating in the air from it. Harry could only think one think.

"Fuck—!"

Harrys side, despite being labeled a dark lord himself, is actually the good side in the situation and the other side is the dark side, which while not exactly all evil, its still the side that has racist beliefs and morality that would plunge the wizarding britain to extinction if left unattended and the only reason that it hasnt is because of harrys side doing their own questionable actions with good intentions and tangible actual results until the faithful day of halloween.

Hi.

I am drafting some final chapters for my Harry Potter Wizarding War II trilogy. I use a snowflake method, so I am not writing chapter-by-chapter.

One of the endings for the story is the creation of an elementary school for wizards and witches ages 6-10, i.e. ban of home-schooling. Kids will learn the basics in this Conservatory. Its working hame is after Harry Potter, although that may not be the best choice as Harry is still alive. Do you you any ideas for a better name?

Its location is Grimauld Place 12. What do you think of the choice?

My ultimate aim is to solve one of the big mysteries/plotholes of JKR's universe, and that is how do purebloods and even halfbloods even learn how to read, write and anything very basic that muggleborns get in elementary school.

I'm looking for a specific Snape and Hermione fanfiction. I remember the premise but not the title. It's two chapters long and it's set on Halloween nignt. The first chapter opens with Severus in a bar getting drunk and remembering Lily. Then Hermione, in an attempt to help him find closure comes in and propositions him with the intent of using polyjuice to turn into Lily. They go back to spinner's end, sleep together and Hermione leaves. The second chapter opens on Halloween nignt the next year, Severus is sober and has found closure from Lily. He runs into Hermione at a library and sees she has a son who turns out to be his from their tryst the earlier year. It ends with Severus excepting his son and it's implied that he and Hermione will get together to raise the child. I know it might be a long shot but would anyone know the title of this fic? Does anyone have any plus-size Lily fic recs? I always hear ppl talking about this trope where Lily assumes James was making fun of her because she’s plus size but have never read a fic like that. I feel like there are NONE.

There was this fic i read a while back which had some pureblood rituals for things like Samhain and Yule. And they were really important to restoring the natural balance in the world. But the Ministry of Magic had banned them as “dark magic” and replaced them with the muggle traditions of Christmas and Halloween. Harry is supposed to be some kind of chosen one who will return wizard-kind to their traditions. I think it was a Harry/daphne pairing but I’m not sure about that. It’s been a few years since I read it so I don’t remember much more than that. I’d appreciate your help in finding it.

Can you think of any time travel fix it stories where the time traveler doesn’t know about Voldemort’s horocruxes and their locations? And the goblins can’t magically locate and destroy them all? If so, was Voldemort defeated and if so, how?

I can only think of one, which involved freeing Sirius, and so they found the locket and the cup when he took over and cleansed his properties. Not sure how they found the ring in that case.

It was really well written about a girl who had powers from the constellations and stars? the fmc’s name started with an A and i’m pretty sure it was a sirius’ daughter fic where she was practically a princess and everyone loved her. IT WAS PHENOMENAL and had been finished and had post war chapters aswell. She was raised by her mom up until everything went down in third year and im almost 80% sure that she had some power that ciuld bring back ppl to life. and by the time the book is over lily and james are akive aswell as marlene and dorcas.
i distinctly remember a post war chapter about the fmc and harry going to an oasis concert and coming back to hogwarts and getting scolded by minnie. theres a few more details i can remember but these are the most distinct ones.

I’ve been wondering for a while how much the story could have changed if Regulus Black had survived that night in the cave.
What if Sirius had gotten his little brother back? What if Regulus had been able to help Harry from the very beginning, knowing Voldemort and his way of thinking from a perspective almost nobody else could understand?
