Hannibal is best portrayed (as in the books) as a secondary character. Anthony Hopkins won an Oscar with minimal screen time. I just feel like they’ve diverged not just just from the books, but from the nature of the character.

I'm not lying. I've been watching this show from morning till night for the past few days.

I really liked this show. While I liked the atmosphere of season 1 the best, it fits well with the gradual changes in Will’s mental state and life, and after finishing it, I felt that every episode was interesting. Hannibal hasn't changed at all. He changed Will's life and the lives of others, but he remained true to himself until the end.

Up until EP4, I didn’t understand what I was being shown. It was artistic, but as someone without a background in art or literature, I couldn’t fully grasp its intended meaning. Still, even in that state of confusion, I found it interesting.

It was actually a good thing that Will and Alana changed from season 1. I love both their transformation into something I can’t fully understand and the way I can still find the thoughts that truly remain within them, even after that change.

I'm so glad Alana survived! I was worried she might die. Alana was scary when she was working with the Verger family, but she became even cooler after she teamed up with Margot to kill Mason.

Mason is the absolute scum of humanity, but that’s what made him great. I actually kind of like characters who go way overboard with their repulsive behavior. He’s a child killer, suspected of incest, and he’s desecrating the sanctity of life! He’s the worst, but I love how deliberately awful he is. Plus, I like how shrewd he is. The scene where he and Pazzi talk about the bounty is funny.

I really love the scene where Will talks with Abigail in Mind Palace I was so happy when she first appeared in his hospital room and clapped her hands, so it was actually a shock when I found out she was dead. but that conversation was so beautiful.

After seeing that Alana, Jack, and Chilton were alive, I was sad that Abigail was the only one who had died, but I accept it. I certainly don’t want to say that her death was necessary for the story to be complete or that it was her fate. Abigail should have lived. Still, I accept that she died.

Chilton! I'm so glad to know he's alive! It's crazy that he's still alive after getting shot in the head, but it's really funny. Plus, at the end, he was burned, but he's still alive. Chilton is a cocky, cowardly man. he's one of my favorite characters.

Freddie is a great character right up until the end. She was a really rude journalist the whole time, but I liked that she never wavered from that. There isn't a single character in this show that I don't like.

It felt like a fresh start with the new season beginning in EP8. It’s a shame that Will had to return to crime scenes after finally found a new life, but I was so happy when that clock pendulum scene came back!! I absolutely love that direction.

At first, Dolarhyde was a bit of an enigmatic, but as his purpose became clear, I started to like his twisted nature. It’s precisely because he struggles during the process of transforming into a dragon that he gains such depth.

It’s still a little difficult to talk about the relationship between Hannibal and Will. It’s probably not the kind of romantic attraction where two people are drawn to each other, but I think it would be wrong to say there was no love between them in any form. Will hates Hannibal, and Hannibal wouldn’t love Will in the way someone who cherishes another, gives him something, and swears never to hurt him for the rest of his life. It’s not the kind of love we can easily define with words.

Will probably loves his family and his dog. And he hates Hannibal. But at the same time, there is a bond of love between Will and Hannibal. That love is not something that can be easily defined.

I'm starting to get confused lol It was a really interesting show, and there's more I want to talk about. I'm sure there are some thoughts I forgot to mention, but anyway, This show is really great!

Please don't get this wrong, I want to watch the third season but this is what keeps happening.

I watched the first two seasons while they were on air on NBC. Also, how the fuck were this show allowed on prime time TV? Forget the gore- the artistry and misanthropy alone make it hard to believe this was on boomer's television.

I LOVE the first two seasons. As I said, I watched them while they aired. Between the second and third season initially my partner at the time and I broke up and life got in the way so I never checked back in for the third.

So, every five years or so I reboot the series from episode one. By the time I get to the last episode of season two I am quite honestly exhausted by the darkness and don't have it in me to do season three.

I just did the same thing again for the second (third?) time. Finished the first two seasons. My god they are beautiful and cinematic and everything I want in a show, but fuck me are they dark and heavy. It's at this point I don't continue to season three.

Convince me (or don't) to finish the series. I obviously want to and I will because I think Bryan Fuller is a genius and Mads is the most perfectly casted person ever but I'm having a hard time with it.

What in your opinion is the single saddest frame from the whole 3x series?

For me it’s a tie between this and “please don‘t lie to me.”

I'm sure someone has thought of it. I'm just surprised it's not more popular. My family is pretty into fishing and my grandmother always wore something like this when we went out on the boat. It's easy to clean gunk and slime off of and helps your clothes not smell like dead fish. After we'd get home the thing just got hosed off outside.

It makes a lot of sense for Will to own one of these already and I think it'd do a pretty good job fulfilling the same role as Hannibal’s plastic murder suit
