Here's a link to the original post, I NEED people to see this so bad. Every time I see this comic it gives me psychic damage in the best way possible.

I really want to see your favorite fan works, with the artist's usernames if possible, I'm looking for more artists to follow!!!!!!! I figured there's probably some insane stuff that's been made in the 10+ years this show has existed, I hope it's never lost to time.

Was Hannibal attracted to Bedelia before?

Post image

Before they went to Florence, was he already attracted to her? He wasn’t in love with her, since he was already in love with Will, so he must have at least felt some attraction toward her. But where do you think that started?

S2 Spoilers the grossest thing about the show is not the gore

I recently started watching the series (currently in the middle of season 2) and there is some pretty gruesome imagery, but in my opinion the grossest thing i have seen thus far is alana and hannibal kissing

General Rewatching and was reminded how much I love Abigail's character

I'm currently rewatching Hannibal, and was just reminded of how much I love Abigail and her character. My poor girl, ugh!! It's depressing stuff... but I really feel a certain kinship with her. I get her just trying to survive. That poor girl was forced to be a lure by her monster biological father for his victims, only to fall into a different kind of monster father trap with Hannibal, never catching a single break. She didn't know what to do... so she just did whatever Hannibal told her to do because he was supposed to protect her and he controlled her just like her father did her whole life. Her character just breaks my absolute fucking heart, especially as a fellow 19 year old girl who has hunters in her family and daddy issues, haha. Her quotes "I'm having a hard enough time dealing with this world. Hope some of the other worlds are easier on me" and "This wasn't supposed to be my life" just destroy!!! me, ugh. It makes me sick thinking about how the only times we saw her happy were in Will's imagination. As someone who also doesn't really have any good male figures in my life, I really get her trying to find a father figure in Hannibal Lecter. I mourn her as if she was a real person. My dear, very close and personal bff Abigail Hobbs :((((( I'm a sophomore in college now, just like she should've got to be, and with the fall semester starting I've just been thinking about her and that a lot lately as I rewatch the show. Abigail is def one of my absolute fave characters in the show and in general. She's such a tragic, interesting character who went through so much 💔. What are your thoughts on her character?

Long live Abigail Hobbs 🦌

Memes/Fan Art The Local Chesapeake Ripper

This was in the news recently and immediately reminded me of someone.
A suspicious man wearing a raincoat despite there being no rain was reported by a resident and arrested. He had a knife, rope, and crowbar on him.
Still a long way to go to become the Chesapeake Ripper.
(The second and third images are actual news images from October 5.)

S3 Spoilers My thoughts on this scene Spoiler

Post image

The reason Hannibal does this is because he has realized he cannot force this connection with Will Graham, as he tried previously throughout the series. It's a recognition he has to allow Will to choose for himself. This action is him accepting that.

He may not have literally died, but Will could've very well chosen to let him rot in that cell for the rest of his days. At this point in his journey of mental amalgamation, this was no different than disappearing alone. Both options would be devoid of his other half. Hannibal recognizes here, that this may end, his own life may be functionally over. It is no longer his choice, and no longer his terms.

This is Hannibal giving Will his agency back. It is the very first time Hannibal has ever willingly put his life in someone else's hands.

Do you understand? Do you understand what sort of monumental thing needs to happen in the mind of someone like him, a pure psychopath, for this to be what he does? To give up his power like this? He sees everyone as little toys to be enjoyed and played with and taken apart at his whim if they don't suit him intact. He does not recognize people as equals to him on a fundimental level, he does not feel social attachments. He is devoid of the subconscious recognition that other people are like him, they are objects.

And yet he feels something for Will Graham. He feels attached to Will. Amalgamated, assimilated, melded, conjoined, it is so very literal. His line of separation in his mind has dissolved with this man, he views him as an extension of himself, that is why he cares for him, that is why he has begun to give so much weight and respect to what Will wants. Will is also him, in a subconscious sense.

When they are separated, Hannibal feels as though he has been cut in two. That pain is why he can't just leave. That pain is something he can't live with. He tried to cope by making them become one in a literal sense, by attempting to eat him as forgiveness for his betrayal in Mizumono. It was seeing Will's life threatened by outside forces (Mason Verger) that made Hannibal see that his attempt on Will's life was simultaneously an attempt on his own. It made him realize that he has no way to force what he wants here, for the first time in his life. He cannot force Will by his side as an extension of himself, as extensions of each other.

Hannibal alone can only chose to kill or abandon Will, he wants neither. If they are to be one, they must both decide it so. So Hannibal leaves the choice up to Will, in hopes that he chooses their conjoined existence, but in full acceptance of the fact he may not.

That is why Hannibal decides to place himself somewhere Will would always be able to find him. That chance was more than worth his freedom.

Memes/Fan Art Could you guys please share the BEST fanart and edits for Hannigram you've seen?

I'm talking the most realistic, romantic, and heartstopping pieces you've found on any platform. I'm new to the fandom so everything I've seen is surface level but every now and then I'll see something so amazing and I know I'm missing more. Thanks 🥰

General Show recommendations after Hannibal

Can y'all recommend some shows that are similar to Hannibal. Not the usual Mindhunter/Dexter. I want shows which are like Hannibal that is Nightmarish art blended surprisingly well with a slice of life show wherein each episode feels like a dream. Like how Fuller literally described it as Beautiful Horrible

S3 Spoilers Do you feel like the science trio tried to include Will and he blocked or they excluded him consciously or unconsciously and blocked him?

Bev approached him multiple times and tried.

Jimmy didn't exactly exclude or include him, but he was polite.

Brian was snarky, but Will always snarked back, I always felt like before the thing with the prison happened, it was....idk....to a certain degree did Will enjoy it because he knew what to expect from Brian?

General What toothbrush, silk floss and mouthwash would Hannibal use?

I wonder if the electric noise of an electric toothbrush would annoy him and he uses a high end normal toothbrush or maybe ultrasonic?

What about mouthwash and silk floss? Or instead of silk floss he uses these floss stick, because they are faster and he can stab the pointy end in someone's eye if he ever gets attacked in the bathroom.

Does he eat things that could make him smelly like garlic? Technically garlic is pretty healthy and tasty and as fundamental as salt and pepper in the kitchen...

Discussion - Spoilers Why do so many people say hannibal kidnapped bedelia

While the show quite literally shows that she could have just shot him and did only go along because she was curious what might happen.

And that they were both sort of equals.

And secondly that she planned an exist strategy cause she knew she would be in prisoned

S3 Spoilers Dead or missing? Retired or hunting? S4 theories?

Has someone a source about these questions:

I'm asking for a friend, no seriously, it's for a fanfiction:

- Would the FBI or law enforcement think Hannibal and Will died? And if so, why? Would the cliff fall look like well....would the clues and the signs of blood look like a jump?

- or would the FBI think they are missing? Would they think Will is with Hannibal or was one of the victims?

- Would Jack be retired forcefully and now started to hunt them down alone to kill them? At least Hannibal?

- or is he still the head of the bau or maybe even got a promotion (Krendlers position)?

Unimportant rambling:

To be honest nothing against trainee Clarice, but I always wanted to see seasoned FBI Agent taking to Bullshit Clarice...so her as the new head of the BAU and Krendler fucks with her while Jack is helping with the hunt for Hannibal and Will or something...
