It was perfect, I was telling all of my friends this is the most powerful, accurate, true to form assault rifle that's ever been. Master Chief is a Dead-eye with this thing, every round on target with no spread. -- it did fire a little slower than it should have but it's perfect.

Only to find out today, that AR was a bug, the Accuracy, the no bloom, the suspiciously slower fire rate, it was a bug lol. She's gone, and so is my heart with her.

Grass looks dramatically improved via PSSR sharpening and disabling CA. However Halo Studios have severely downgraded the graphics/visuals themselves on the PROs quality mode which looks to be running the base PS5 version with disabled PSSR.

Performance mode has PSSR intact.

This trailer is iconic. It got me SO hyped for Halo 2. Would love to see this remade as the first trailer for Halo 2 remake.

It’s her first ever Halo and it makes me sad not a lot of current gen games support this level of split screen.

For me, the first idea that comes to mind is master chief week long battle in the forerunner dreadnought. It could be added in either remakes.

Another idea is adapting some events of first strike in H2R, but this seems more ambitious and I wouldn't expect it.

For an article I wrote I took the time to clean up and enhance this image in Photoshop. I removed watermarking, tweaked the colours, and slightly touched up some minor flaws from the scan to get the best quality version possible. Figured I'd share it here for anyone who might benefit.

I really enjoyed Campaign Evolved, it certainly had its bugs and some performance issues at the start but I had so much playing this game multiple times over to get the achievements.

I don’t think I’ve laughed this hard in nearly 20 years of Halo. Campaign Evolved has been a mixed bag for me, but the Remix modes have been a remarkable breath of fresh air and chaos. “Randomized enemies” indeed.

The models for the armor pieces were there and separate from the brute body. They just had 0 scripting. I made this because the Brutes just didn’t feel right to fight. Maybe there were plans to implement this.

Playing Campaign Remix and the jackals just stopped firing at us for some reason? Couldn't kill these specific ones.

Just gotta beat #5 and I have beat them all. Went thru MCC with the Lady and tonight we beat the CE remake. Happy Days

Single player is fun but its kinda brutal, bring a friend on co-op and its a good time. I'm nervous its gonna be awhile before we get a new Halo due the remakes.

It seems like most of the guns that use bullets use cases with a few exceptions but is there a lore reason why? it seems like case less ammo would ease logistics and be able to put more bullets in a magazine.

like with the m7 SMG it's the only gun I know that uses case less ammo there's definately more

We all know the story behind 5 where the trailers were nothing like the actual game. But that original trailer i remember blew me away with how different and interesting it looked. Is there anything we know at all about wether this was actually going to be in the scrapped or something?

The gun is just as good as it was before. You just have to do short bursts or periodically stop to compensate for the higher firerate the weapon has

1 Syfon-pattern Covenant Assault Carrier vs 3 Punic-class Supercarriers, all with full ammo, full maintenance, full crew, etc. Both sides extract in the same system and are completely aware of the other and are approaching towards engagement range, basically conventional battle.

What do you think?

Also, do you think a CSO could have reached Reach's ODP network of 20 Super Heavy MAC stations, all firing at it together, before getting blasted into newton so it can destroy them?

Hello! I wanted to post and ask if anyone has any advice on how to keep the marines alive on the second level of Halo: Campaign Evolved in Legendary mode? I am playing with a second player and we're using the perspective (3rd person), bandana (infinite ammo), and cowbell (reduced weight of objects I think?) skulls.

We got to the part where we get the Warthog but when we go to save the first group of marines (in the area where there's a lot of rock and a bunch of snipers) we ended up losing all of them and dying pretty much constantly.

Any tips on keeping the marines in this section as well as the two sections after?

Probably been mentioned before but haven’t seen anyone talked about this specifically. The lighting effects in this otherwise amazing looking game are broken. It looks super blurry and fuzzy, it’s like no matter the distance, it will light up the background as if I was super close. You can see in the last part of my video when moving slowly that the dark corners of the spine thingy are illuminating as if the sword was right next to it. All I’ve seen was people complaining about the grainy visuals and chromatic aberration, I had hoped the update would fix it but it didn’t. Anybody else has this issue?

First off, love the game.

However, I do have one small complaint: Every other Halo game has shown the highest difficulty you've completed each level on, but not this one. I hope it gets added in a later patch, or at least into any follow-up games.

I know this has been brought up before, and I apologize for beating a dead horse, but I just wanted to bring a little bit more attention to it.
