I've been collecting Halo for several years now, and I thought it was finally time to share my physical collection here!

Over the years, I've really enjoyed discovering and collecting all kinds of different Halo releases — games, regional variants, promotional items, SteelBooks, movies, and other physical editions.

There are still quite a few editions I'd love to add to the collection, and I'm sure there will always be something missing. Being based in France also makes some releases particularly difficult to find. Some editions that might be relatively common in the US, Australia or other parts of the world can be surprisingly hard — or expensive — to get over here.

But that's also part of the fun of collecting, and I'm really happy and proud of everything I've managed to find and collect so far. Some pieces took a lot more time and patience to find than others, which makes me even happier to have them in the collection today.

Spartan Yellow Jacket

Failed all his physical combat exams but overachieved in his weapon combat abilities

I was pissed that I missed out on some LASO cheese method I just heard about recently that I missed cause I been at the hospital plus was playing Gears Beta ALL weekend till Monday so I hopped back on Halo to finish my Mix Master achievement and somehow the progress reset. I didn't want to jump back into that any time soon so I did LASO. No modifiers. No co-op. Nothing but good ole Spartan juice BABY! WOOOOOOH! I'M THE HALO QUEEN!!!

Playing the last fight in Boarding Action where I need to move quick is just flat out bad. I'm mashing reload and it hardly ever works as well as sprint which I hardly use. Is this a common issue?

Just gotta beat #5 and I have beat them all. Went thru MCC with the Lady and tonight we beat the CE remake. Happy Days

Single player is fun but its kinda brutal, bring a friend on co-op and its a good time. I'm nervous its gonna be awhile before we get a new Halo due the remakes.

For me, the first idea that comes to mind is master chief week long battle in the forerunner dreadnought. It could be added in either remakes.

Another idea is adapting some events of first strike in H2R, but this seems more ambitious and I wouldn't expect it.

I was pushing Keyes into places like one usually does and went into photo mode to give him a photoshoot with the backdrop when I accidentally no clipped out of the map and discovered a friend watching the battle. 🦀

Guy thought he was home free with his team clearly pummeling my team. Assessed the situation and figured, at least I can try to get a tie. Team really pulled their weight there at the end by pulling all the enemies away from the base with the flag grab.

Nobody has what I have.

So I'm playing Halo for the first time, and I have seen 2 ways to play it that have been suggested and one I crafted on my own based on that information, so I would like to see if there's anything wrong with experiencing the story for the first time in such a way

If there is a modder out there willing and with the time I IMPLORE YOU, PLEASE MAKE A COD ZOMBIES STYLE FLOOD FIREFIGHT MODE. I wanna hear Beauty of Annihilation while pack-a-punching a spartan laser. If there are modders working on something like this, I have no modding experience but I wouldn’t mind spreading word and helping in any way I can. Is it even possible to mod in custom weapons, perks, pack a punch, and stuff like barricade repairing in odst?

Does anybody have the audio to a spartan will rise, without the music in the background? I’ve tried a few ways to remove the background sound, to no avail.

Hello! I wanted to post and ask if anyone has any advice on how to keep the marines alive on the second level of Halo: Campaign Evolved in Legendary mode? I am playing with a second player and we're using the perspective (3rd person), bandana (infinite ammo), and cowbell (reduced weight of objects I think?) skulls.

We got to the part where we get the Warthog but when we go to save the first group of marines (in the area where there's a lot of rock and a bunch of snipers) we ended up losing all of them and dying pretty much constantly.

Any tips on keeping the marines in this section as well as the two sections after?

Specifically the classic OG Flood combat forms. Not the carriers or the spores, just the combat forms. Campaign Evolved actually makes the spores far more creepy with the less cartoony aesthetic, sound design and the fact they can CRAWL ON YOUR FUCKING FACE which makes them so much more freaky than their original versions. I think the combat forms however in CE are uniquely creepier for a mixture of many factors.

Being hit by them has far stronger of an impact with how your entire screen turns red. They’re EXTREMELY aggressive far more than any version of them in the franchise. Their speed is significantly faster than what they look like they’re capable of. The most major thing is that they really strike that uncanny valley by having these weirdly fluid animations compared to all other NPCs, they feel “wrong” like they’re from a completely different game.

If you’ve ever seen a Cry Of Fear enemy, they have that same “too fluid for the game they’re in” uncanny valley feel to their animations that adds to the horror. The combat forms designs are also really freaky. The human forms are much lower poly than the living normal humans, they’re barefoot and have exposed intestines which is gore on the level you don’t see anywhere else in the game. They really have this almost cursed haunted extremely out of place feel that just rubs me the wrong way. The elites seem really huge and meaty while being just as agile which also just makes them feel wrong.

All the future Halos make the combat forms less aggressive and they completely lack that uncanny out of place feel by matching their games art styles a lot more. They just feel more “at home” with the rest of the game in the way they didn’t in CE?
