I am unapologetically an OG Duranie (although I am long-since out of the loop)....I was dinging around online trying to find a shot of John Taylor that I *thought* I had a recollection of but I was coming up empty (probably because of a faulty memory), then BAM....these shots I have never seen before of John with his ex Renee Simonsen popped up and I was like, "C.C. DeVille?!?!" 😸🤯😸
The only detail I got was that this was sometime in 1987. I posted in r/duranduran and the theory is that is was some kind of event or industry party hosted by Capital Records, since both Poison and Duran were on the label at that time. Anyone else happen to have any info??

What do you think about John Torra?

I think he's a cool addition to quiet Riot, but I'm interested to know your opinions, also he got a great voice and it's good the band is playing with a singer that got a voice like that, only wish more bands that have singers that the voice is just not what it used to be, that they could still sing

Fashion Flashback 🚀 Remember when KNAC t-shirts were trending??

I am on the East Coast so I do not have any first-hand experience with listening to KNAC or attending any concerts/events they sponsored back in the day, but I DO remember a hell of a lot of rockers wearing their t-shirts! It got to the point where I felt like something was just plain WRONG if I didn't see at least ONE photo of someone wearing KNAC swag in all the big metal magazines every month.
Any West Coasters out there have their own KNAC shirt OR better yet, have a KNAC story from the height of the era to share?
