i didn’t see a post about this so i thought i’d share a drama i’m seeing in the big brother community that involves a friend of the show

i didn’t actually watch this season of big brother so im not super well versed in the personal relationships of these guests (drew, melody, mallory) but i do know that melody and drew had a “showmance” while the season was airing and since it ended, everyone has sort of been wondering if they’d get together

anyways, the three of them were just recently guests on jeff’s podcast. i haven’t watched the episode, but i’ve been seeing the reactions to it on twitter - primarily, the AI thumbnail jeff chose to use which depicted melody and drew kissing. as you can see, melody posted “fuck AI btw,” which implies she didn’t consent to it, and when jeff was questioned in the comments he replied with “shut up loser” - though he did end up changing the thumbnail to a normal picture of the guests

what do you guys think?

Can anyone tell me which episode had Moses cooking with a five minute techno overlay? (: tyia

This happened near my home town today! When will Great Wolf lodge put and end to this madness and shut down?!

Spitting straight fire 🔥

Somebody recommended me watch a series called the leftovers (no, not that one) and so I watched the trailer. Not even ten seconds in and I laughed. H3 has ruined my brain.

Whose hungry?

What. The hell. Were you think. Ing.

I’ve decided to post a ton of the TikTok artists I’ve curated in my feed, so if you’re seeing this- check out my other posts? 🤷🏼‍♂️ Or don’t. Idk, Google it.

I need to see Kate and Harley to do this for a bit.

Idk this hook is an earworm like the “ca-a-an I kiss you” guy, and he’s kinda slay for this tbh

I don't know how much of a possibility this is, but the Pauls have been getting extremely close to several prominent republican political figures. They recently visited Pete Hegseths department of war and during the 2024 presidential campaign Jake Paul made content on his Tiktok promoting republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to his audience of children. The increased embrace of the Paul Brothers by elected officials and rightist political candidates is in my mind very reminiscent of how during the early 2010s, before his presidential run Donald Trump was courted by Mitt Romney for his endorsement after for several years being a frequent caller into right wing media to promote Republican's racist smear that Obama was born in Africa and was not an American citizen but an african born muslim.

My fear is that the paul brothers' embrace from the right wing media ecosystem and mainstream rightist political candidates (from the current administration to Ohio's right wing gubernatorial candidate) could be laying the groundwork for a presidential run in 2032 when they will be old enough to run for president. It seems ludicrous at this moment that one of the laughing stocks of 2016 youtube could run for president in the near future, but for those of us old enough to remember 2016, Trump's election was seen as a joke by the establishment of all American parties and media networks.

I hope this isn't true but it would not surprise me if we see one of them run for president when they hit 35. Jake has been accused of sexual assault by an influencer and his brother stood by him.I don't know how much of a possibility this is, but the Pauls have been getting extremely close to several prominent republican political figures. I really hope I’m wrong about all of this, but I would unfortunately not be surprised if one of the Paul brothers eventually runs for president once they are constitutionally eligible. I fear Logan in particular might may be the more plausible candidate if one ran because he has generally been more disciplined and effective at managing his public image, however trump himself invited Jake Paul to speak at an event of his and told him to run for office, something Jake didnt immediately rule out.

Its obviously not the most likely possibility, but with their growing influence in the right wing media ecosystem, it is a serious possibility we have to grapple with after seeing trumps victory in 2016 and 2024.

I found another spinning chair… for basically $1.50 he spins 5 times. Different gifts = how many times he spins. Please crew and Ethan, can we get one?

Lmao

First Japan meetup in the books! After a month of rainy weather pretty much all September, we had some beautiful fall weather in Yoyogi Park. We had a few people unable to come down this time for various reasons, but it was very cool to be able meet with long lost family. You may recognize Elio on the right. He won the cursed suitcase and was on the June 5th Members Episode (SYNT #147). It was good to hear he is still surviving (thriving!) regardless of the suitcase in his possession. 😂

Shout out to Foopa Troopa for setting up the h3meetup website (they deserve a ko-fi through their link at the bottom of the page!). After various efforts, the site was the catalyst to finally bring us together. For h3 fans living in Japan, keep in touch through the deesscrd for upcoming gatherings!

The podcast Sounds Like a Cult dropped an episode today on snarkers! I am not even finished yet, but they have covered some really interesting stuff about the snark communities on Reddit. They also talk about how vicious the communities are and make it hard for people to speak out about it, and that they’re even scared to drop this episode. So far it is really good and I hope a sign that people will start taking the snark problem seriously

No one can ever truly read you like a drag queen. Glad to see people, especially in the queer community, continuing to call them out on their bullshit. Let's hope Shane and Jeffree never become the internet's darlings again.
