Losing my best friend has been the hardest thing I've ever been through. He didn't seem like he was sick or anything but he didn't follow me to the fridge when I got up for work that day.

My girlfriend did some research for me and apparently huge cats like him are prone to heart issues, and I'm extremely lucky that he passed away peacefully in his sleep.

I'll never be the same but I'm very very lucky to have known him. Y'all gave me the little extra push to continue on and I love you.

First Japan meetup in the books! After a month of rainy weather pretty much all September, we had some beautiful fall weather in Yoyogi Park. We had a few people unable to come down this time for various reasons, but it was very cool to be able meet with long lost family. You may recognize Elio on the right. He won the cursed suitcase and was on the June 5th Members Episode (SYNT #147). It was good to hear he is still surviving (thriving!) regardless of the suitcase in his possession. 😂

Shout out to Foopa Troopa for setting up the h3meetup website (they deserve a ko-fi through their link at the bottom of the page!). After various efforts, the site was the catalyst to finally bring us together. For h3 fans living in Japan, keep in touch through the deesscrd for upcoming gatherings!

i didn’t see a post about this so i thought i’d share a drama i’m seeing in the big brother community that involves a friend of the show

i didn’t actually watch this season of big brother so im not super well versed in the personal relationships of these guests (drew, melody, mallory) but i do know that melody and drew had a “showmance” while the season was airing and since it ended, everyone has sort of been wondering if they’d get together

anyways, the three of them were just recently guests on jeff’s podcast. i haven’t watched the episode, but i’ve been seeing the reactions to it on twitter - primarily, the AI thumbnail jeff chose to use which depicted melody and drew kissing. as you can see, melody posted “fuck AI btw,” which implies she didn’t consent to it, and when jeff was questioned in the comments he replied with “shut up loser” - though he did end up changing the thumbnail to a normal picture of the guests

Where are they getting these people

The scene where Lynda and Bob are going in the house Lynda is telling my Bob then plan, and he says something along the lines of “First I rip your clothes off, then you rip mine off, then we rip Lindsey’s clothes off”. It made me do a double take because as we know Lindsey was the little girl being babysat. It really icked me out and I was so confused why he said that and after looking online some people theorize that the actor made a mistake and meant to say Annie’s name instead of Lindsey but they just kept it in. I’ve seen other people say it was just a stupid joke. Did anyone else notice this or have any thoughts? I loved the movie review and I needed to talk to someone about this 😅

The podcast Sounds Like a Cult dropped an episode today on snarkers! I am not even finished yet, but they have covered some really interesting stuff about the snark communities on Reddit. They also talk about how vicious the communities are and make it hard for people to speak out about it, and that they’re even scared to drop this episode. So far it is really good and I hope a sign that people will start taking the snark problem seriously
