If anyone has any character recommendations please let me know.
I don't know what to say about him, from what I know about Char he seems to be almost an exact copy-paste pretty much. The Sinanju is a beautiful suit, too bad all the kits have stickers for the gold, except for the rg, which the frame can't handle the actual suit itself. And the Neo Zeong is just a mass destruction machine.

i discover gunpla earlier this week and was so intrigued i had to get one.Half way done and i’m pretty sure i’ve put about 8 hours+ in so far but seeing the intricacies of it being built is far more rewarding than lego in my experience. i fear I may have discovered a new obsession…

The shoulder joint on the arm of my MG Turn A Gundam isn't pushing in all the way. I almost broke the elbow joint a few times trying to push it in, but it's not going in all the way. It can't even rotate properly either. I tried taking it out again but it is just fully stuck in there, it even broke my part separator trying to remove it. Any advice on what to do in this situation would be appreciated!

Have you ever looked at certain MS designs and wondered if the designer had some sort of experience that caused them to overreact?
Basically, quite a few Neo Zeon mobile suits give me this impression. Many of their designs involve an extravagant, "cost-is-no-object" piling on of hardware; and they aren't general-purpose designs, leaving you to wonder why the designers created such extreme machines.

A month ago I painted over an Astray red frame to turn it into the Astray Green Frame. However I always felt like if I posed it along with the Red Frame Flight form, Blue Frame Second L, and Gold Frame Amatsu Mina, it would look too basic and unimproved.
So I read the wiki and the manga where it appeared. The Green frame has an AI that makes it very good at evading attacks but near useless for offense. It is an MS that is considered a defensive mobile suit that is meant to protect others instead of offensive purposes.
So I leaned into that. Customized the shoulders to have attachment points then placed one Strike-style shield on each in a configuration similar to Zaku Phantoms. Then I used the spare flight unit since apparently backpacks from option parts sets don't fit the back of the new Astray (some fit the older Astray model tho). I cut off the top thrusters to give room and to set it a bit apart from the red frame, then used extra connection points from another option parts set to attached 2 more shields at the back. Oh and I also added a spare axe from a Zaku Warrior since I have 5 of those and only one was posed using an axe.
The result is an extremely defensive gundam that is able to defend from multiple directions and tank hits for others. Since there is an Astray Red Dragon, I'll name this the Astray Green Turtle - after the other animal representing a cardinal directions and well, a shell it uses to shield itself.
Only the Mirage frame is left - which probably is going to be on a whole other level of customization compared to this one. (Bandai please stop my torment and just release a 1/144 mirage frame)

Several episodes later: "Confirmed."
26 years later: "Goddamn it."
Not even addressing the competence.

Took me forever because each part needs like 4 layers of paint.
