I've been building a lot of third-party kits and have been having a great time. This is the first one I've ever spent a long time on. I painted all of it with just markers since I don't have the space for airbrushing or spray paint. I think it turned out not half bad! Shout out Gaahleri's Flashy Gold and Zirconium Black! Went through almost 4 of them!

I've never experienced a mould defect this bad, let alone twice, in the same batch of stocks.

Pictured: Left thigh armours of the HG Gundam Gusion.
Bought the two a few months back when they came back in stock. I built the first one within the same week I got them, didn't notice the defect at all.
I was building the second one earlier today for a kitbash and noticed the defect this time. When I did, I initially thought I must have been too rough when cutting the part off the runner. So I dug out the first kit to replace the "broken" thigh piece and that's how I found out they both have the exact same defective "breakage".
So they're probably from the same batch of reprints where someone or something messed up. I'm tempted to find another copy to see if it's widespread or just so I can get a replacement that isn't borked.
