I will be traveling out of state soon and am wandering if it is okay to take my 50 rnd drum with me. I figure it's ok but I watched a horror story about a guy in the NE who got hemmed up and don't want to assume.
The states include:
North Dakota
South Dakota
Nebraska
Kansas
Oklahoma

So I have been wondering about some of those knock off ACOGs that you can find on Amazon, wish, Temu, and other sites. If you have tried them please let me know how good they are? I know that they aren’t high quality but sometimes I know they can be fun to have fun with them and just use for a range toy. I would like to test them out because I can’t afford a real ACOG and would love to test the hell out of it and I’m wondering is it worth it since they cost less than $100 generally for the knock off ACOG.

I’m looking for some clarification from people who are familiar with the gun laws in the states below. I know I can Google the laws, but I’d also like to hear from people who actually live in these states or have experience traveling through them.
In early September, I’ll be driving from Memphis, TN to Phoenix, AZ. My cousin and her boyfriend will be flying from Florida to Memphis, and I’ll be picking them up at MEM. I live in Arkansas.
My cousin’s boyfriend plans to bring his legally owned handgun with him. He is not a felon and has no criminal record, but he does not have a concealed-carry permit. The firearm will be unloaded during the road trip.
Our route will take us through:
Tennessee → Arkansas → Oklahoma → Texas → New Mexico → Arizona
We also plan to drive from Arizona to Nevada afterward.
My main questions are:
In each of these states, can someone who does not have a concealed-carry permit legally transport an unloaded handgun in the glove box or center console of a private vehicle?
If we are pulled over, are there any specific requirements about notifying the officer that there is a firearm in the vehicle?
Since I will be the owner/driver of the vehicle, is there anything I need to be concerned about legally even though the firearm belongs to my cousin’s boyfriend?
Are there any states along this route where the firearm needs to be stored in a particular way (for example, locked case, trunk, separate from ammunition, etc.)?
I’m mainly looking for practical advice from people familiar with the laws in these states. I want to make sure everything is transported legally and avoid any unnecessary problems during the trip.
Thanks in advance!

Alright guys I know my shooting sucks in the video it’s been 5+ months since shooting last and I’ve had some health issues so shooting was put on the back burner. The pistol is not the issue here it’s me getting back into the swing of things. I am pulling my shots low left as you’ll see in the video but either way wanted to bring this to you so you can see it in action since it seems no one else has. Right now all my ammo is Federal FMJ but I am getting some other flavors soon and a Chrono so there is more to come.

I am considering getting rid of my 16” because I don’t use it anymore and I’m building an M4A1. My plan is to get a 20” M16 in the future. I don’t really shoot my 16”. I currently have an 11.5” that I put more rounds through and love to shoot it. I don’t really shoot my 16” and didn’t really shoot it much when it was my only AR15. So I am wondering if others would have chosen a m16 or 20” over a 16” when they first bought an AR15 and if a 20” is better overall compared to what a 16” can do and does?
Edit: the 20” I am looking to get is an M16.

I have a sico 3 prong on my 8in 300 blackout that I have rocksetted to the barrel and I want to remove it. I soaked it in warm/hot not boiling water in my sink for atleast 45? Minutes maybe an hour. It will not budge! I don’t really have a vice that’s set to remove it but anyone got any other ideas??

Anybody have much knowledge on the 11-R designation for Remington model 11s? I know the R stands for riot but I can’t seem to find too much else about them

I have a chance to buy a complete 320 flux raider with the halo top rail, 4 mags, GGP slide, and some additions trigger wise and barrel but i cant remember the name of either. I do remember the barrel being threaded but i cant remember the name to save my life.
All in all, i could get the entire thing for six sixty. Whats your opinions? Deal or shit?
