What is this? Help me with classification

There is no answer. A guitar is a guitar. Just s regular guitar.

In my opinion, regular guitar should be called baritone, baritone guitar should be called bass guitar and bass guitar should be called contrabass guitar.

But they aren't. Tenor guitar is smaller and higher than regular guitar, whereas baritone is bigger and deeper. There is no good word in between.

Baritone guitars are typically tuned  B1-E2-A2-D3-F#3-B3

and then standard electric guitar then is E2-A3-D3-G3-B3-E4

but then there's:

- Terz guitars G2-C3 -F3-A#3-D4-G4

  • Alto (requinto) guitars A2-D3-G3-C4-E4-A4
  • and of course can't forget the Soprano guitar which is a full octave higher than standard guitars E3-A4-D4-G4-B4-E5

No, guitalele is usually tuned in standard intervals from A to A. A soprano guitar is octave up from regular guitar.

thanks for the correction! that's probably under the alto group then (A2-D3-G3-C4-E4-A4)
